off topic for a second: paulgasco....How did you see pareja, I heard in irving today that he was still sore from his muscle problem, but the 3 points were really important today. did he give you 90? and Joselito?
what happened to the castillo brothers that played fro bolivia in the france98 qualifiers one of them was called chocolatin castillo he was pretty good another question did cristaldo retire?
Nope, they got Juergen Sommer and Adin Brown for GKs, + Fernandez played like shyte last year when he was here...
yeah I thought so, but I had to ask. I wasn't completely sure if he was still around. Once again, good riddance.
Chocolatin Castillo commited suicide. He was just becoming BOlivias best player. From 1995 and on, the dude helped BOlivia beat some high rated teams and was a major contributor in copa america96 ( I think it was 96). Castillo and Baldiviso combined made a very lethal attacking midfield. On the final game before the game with Brazil of Copa America in BOlivia, he was called from the dressing room by the PA system to be told his son was dieing from hepetitis. His son died that day, if not the next. Later on that week, Castillo commited suicide. His brother plays very inconsistant. He has his good and bad days.
Diablo should give the Bolivian people the best gift: Resign DC and stay committed to run his Children soccer clinics in the area. He can be a great teacher. Jaime has not been the same ever since his last surgery. Joselito is a great player but still learning and growing. He will evntually be on the national team.
I suspect that was Gotardi. How MLS got tricked into buying that player I'll never know. A marvelous dribbler, can't pass or kick. I think he's now playing in Brazil
is jaime moreno done? ready for retirement or he can offer something to MLS still? they guy has 3 goals in 2002 and one was a PK how old is he.....time to go with el diablo!
This has been a tough year for Jaime. He started the season hurt and went home to Bolivia for therapy. He hasn't found his form yet, but when healthy he is still one of the best in MLS. I'm leaving for the stadium in an hour. I hope to see him score a couple of goals. Dale Jaime.....
His speed and dribbling abilities is what landed him in England years ago. Those attributes still exist but the question is if he's still motivated to play the game. His lack of motivation or ganas keep him from playing in more elite leagues in the world and the national team.
how much longer diablo & jaime moreno have in their MLS contracts...? jaime looks like he is done, at least under this coach, will he be back next yr?
I thought the dude was done to, but the man was clearly the best player for United against San Jose last Saturday.
Moreno : I have a feeling is done with United, too lazy. Diablo: Is playing great for an old man. His speed is not up to par with what MLS has become, but is still among the best with them passes. VACA: Shows signs of Brilliance, but doesnt seem to grasp the leadership role very well. Must be the language barrier. He was awsome when playing in Oriente with a much talented crop of players then Dallas. Any other BOlivians?
that is an oxymoron isn't it???... oriente sucks hard.... i have seen a lot of games when they are playing.... they suck man!!
