Bocanegra starts for 4th level Newco Rangers today. Edu is reportedly injured, while Bedoya is reportedly off to Sweden.

Rangers: Alexander; Broadfoot, Goian, Bocanegra, Wallace; Black, Hutton, McCulloch, Macleod, Little, McKay
    Subs: Gallacher, Cole, Naismith, Crawford

They face a big challenge in 3rd level Brechin City in the Scottish Challenge Cup, a competition for Scottish Football League clubs below the SPL.

Bocanegra is captain. I presume he will keep the captaincy if he sacrifices his international career to become a Rangers legend by staying.

There's no such think as a little goal, just little goalies!

Did Robbie Savage make it? He offered to play for Gers weekdays and Sundays. Apparently has a day-job on Saturday (so he'd fit right in in the D3 where the average wage, apparently is 30 lbs. a week. Boca could be screwing the curve.)

What a weird wacky season this will be.

So they go to a replay? I thought this was part of a Cup.

Actually Rangers lead 2-1 in the 107th minute. McCulloch scored in the 103rd.

I turned it off after the two minutes of stoppage time at the end of the 90 thinking it was over.

    Rangers win 2-1.
I thought it was over after 90 also, but I had switched to Olympic soccer after the first half already.

Gers in ET. That it took that is really f-ed up. They only had 4 subs (out of a possible 5) started two teenagers, but they had a pretty strong squad (certainly for D3 anyway)

Pretty odd comment for the first goal of the match. Little in what way?
