Well, almost halftime, and no thread? So, Fulham up 1-0, Helguson again. Boca and Mcbride both starting. Elliot too, Diop on the bench.
Are you watching/listening to the game live? I have a matchtracker up from fulhamfc.com but I don't see anywhere to get a play by play.
Soccernet's gamecast says own goal - Bocanegra. And they indicate it was from the half-way line?? Hunh?? Anyone see it? Also, Elliott credited with an assist on Helguson's goal, according to the gamecast.
Funny, i could have sworn Bolton's EPL games have been shown the last 3-4 weekends on Fox Sports en Español (a wild guess: probably due to a certain bench forward) ….This time that I actually want to watch a match, no luck….typical Edit: but they are going to show this one at 5pm ET on FSC
Elliott assists on free kick. Own goal came from a scramble in the box involving at least one really good reflex save by Tony Warner. Gentleman Jim thought it was Helguson's own goal as Boca and Heidar tried to get the ball out of danger.
Seriously watching this game got to me. Boconegra is making me paranoid..Im not sure how I feel with him being on the usmnt. The same with BMB...He seems less motivated for playing, I hope this all changes.SOON!
It looks like the fans don't blame Boca or feel anyone did badly: http://home.skysports.com/matchratings.asp?fxid=292052&clid=54&cpid=8 Carlos Bocanegra ("Unfortunate own goal") Sky: 6 Fans: 7.1 Brian McBride ("Bullish display") 7 7.9 Simon Elliott ("Decent performance") 7 7.1
Bolton: Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, N'Gotty, Jaidi, Gardner, Faye (Speed 60), Okocha (Ben Haim 90), Nakata (Vaz Te 82), Nolan, Davies, Giannakopoulos. Subs Not Used: Walker, Borgetti. According to BBC ConnEX was not on the bench.
