It looks like Clemente Rodriguez won't be able to play, because he came back from the National Team matches with an injury. Juan Sanchez Miño will take his place. Pablo Ledesma should start, after returning this past weekend against Banfield.

Lets see if this new app that I downloaded works. Likely lineup (4-3-1-2):

The latest report is that Mouche will start and Cvitanich will go to the bench.

I would prefer Mouche and Cvitanich to both start. Silva has been crap of late.

I know Mouche hates it, but I think he's most effective coming off the bench in the second half.

Huge game Uni de Chile are a good team who keep the ball well.We will have to play all out to beat them.
Glad to see Mouche get his chance let's hope he proves his point.Do agree with Atomicbloke Silva has sucked last few games and although he has scored some big late goals we still have not seen the best of him.Tonight would be a great night to change that!!

Alright, here we go! Here's hoping for an explosion from el Loco, not conceding a goal, and of course, for the Don to give la Bombonera something for the ages.

Good counter by Boca. Silva inches over the bar.

i was all ready to root for La U. Now Im ready to wage war on Chile for the way their fans were acting today all over the city. Throwing sticks and rocks at motorcycles and being overall Chilenos.

Enjoyed that half. Think we deserve the 1-0 lead we have been bright and closed down excellently. Now lets try and put it to bed in the second half, and not waste chances again.

Yep pretty good first half athough the Chilenos have looked decent as well.Another goal would be wonderful but if we finish up with a 1-0 advantage it's no disaster

Pretty good first half for us. Good play from Silva, Orion and the defense for the most part. Mouche started well, but he's been off on a few plays since. I would really like a second goal, but of course, not if it comes at the expense of us conceding.

Gol del nino...Sanchez Mino. As far as I'm concerned, it should now be his job to lose.

2-0 Boca. Now, let's lock it up. Getting a third would be great, but once again, the most important thing for the rest of the match is to be solid defensively.

Pochi in for Ledesma. Not a lot from Ledesma tonight. Hopefully, he's saving it for the last 3.

Great result that puts us in a good position for the finals. The team looked tired in the 2nd half though, but then again, so did Universidad to me. There were a lot of bad giveways in our end. But the defense was rock solid, so we didn't pay for it.

2-0 final.Excellent overall performance, very solid at the back and we created plenty of opportunities.
Could have been more than 2, we are in a good position but still a tough away game to play

Here are the goals. What a show at la Bombonera! You can see Maradona, Tevez, Palermo, Del Potro, everybody celebrating Boca's win.

The second goal was beautiful passing football. I hadn't noticed Del Po and Palermo.

Was it me or did U de Chile get completely halted by our defense??
Talk about dominating, makes me wonder why I had worried. Let's get to that final now

I watched it this morning, it was a solid all-around game, an excellent team effort. Riquelme was the one pulling the strings in midfield. I'd give him a 9 out of 10.

    Here are all my qualifications:

Orion 7: Very little work but came through with a nice save the one time it was needed.
Roncaglia 7: Solid controlling the Chilean attacks on his flank.
Schiavi 9: Excellent game and great leadership from the veteran.
Insaurralde 6: Solid but imprecise with the ball.
Sanchez Miño 9: I'm in love. This kid is going to be a star!
Ledesma 5: Still a bit out of it, after his injury. He should do better next time.
Somoza 7: Unsung work, but he was key in making a good team like La U look bad.
Erviti 8: Lots of unsung work like Somoza, but also dangerous when joining the attack. A key player for this team.
Riquelme 9: His usual brilliant game, controlling the ball and making his incisive passes.
Mouche 8: Still misses more than his share, but he drove the Chilean defense crazy all game.
Silva 8: Great finishing and always creating havoc up front. Silva is back!
Chavez 6: Not much from him when he came in but helped keep things under control and fight the good fight.
Cvitanich 5: Came in late when the game was already in the freezer and didn't do much.

Overall one of the best games I've seen from Boca this year. La U will be tough in Chile but playing like this I like our chances.
