With La Copa taking a break, Falcioni is going all out on Sunday. Silva will be rested, and Roncaglia is a question mark, but Somoza returns.

    Likely starters: (4-3-1-2)

    ..................................Orion
    Roncaglia/Sosa...Schiavi...Insaurralde....Clemente
    .................Rivero......Somoza......Erviti
    .................................Riquelme
    ..................Mouche......Cvitanich

Somoza's return is huge, I hope he's 100 percent. Erbes put a good effort, but I think he was the weak link.

Welcome back, Somoza. Now, if we can only get back Ledesma, we'll be at full strength just at the right time. Hopefully, Somoza will be able to bring some order to our midfield defensively. The back line has suffered quite a bit in recent games, which coincides somewhat with his not being there.

YES we have the starters back although the other squad did exceptionally well. I want them to remain as punteros!

I like this line-up though I'd have made the obvious change for Silva if he wasn't being rested and I'd go with Sosa over Roncaglia. Sosa over the past few matches has been a bastard of a defender which suits this back line quite well.

Looks like Sosa will be starting at right back.

Entertaining first half.We are creating plenty and Riquelme seems to be in the mood.
Godoy Cruz are playing their part as well and tbh they should have had a pen when it was 1-0
More goals to come 2nd half I would say next one is crucial

Well good performance all in all, seemed to take our foot of the gas for parts of the second half. The third goal from Mouche was miles offside, but i'll take the slice of luck. Roman was majestic, 3 assists and a virtuoso display of his pasing range. Though Pablito did make some typical poor decisions at time I think his general play has come on leaps and bonds this year. Really looks hard to drop for me.

El maestro Riquleme never ceases to amaze me. We played like champions even though it just seemed like la Tomba was completely flat. I wanted Viatri to go in. I think he could use some mintues after being out for so long. Great game for Boca. Can't wait for Banfield

What an absolutely dominating performance by Boca and Don Libertadores. Even with the ridiculously offside goal this match was never in doubt. I guess the assistant referee gave about as much of a ******** as GC did at that point. Leandro Somoza immediately was noticeable upon his return and I'm glad my big upping of Franco Sosa paid off, he was a beast out there and offered a little bit going forward. The only frustration of this match was once again Mouche and his finishing and decision making. Aside from that he was pretty good.

Missed it. I had a wedding and afterwards we went out partying. Glad to hear that Román came up huge again, the anti-football crowd must be pissed. Sounds like a game worth watching, it's a good thing I have it on tape.

Has to miss this one live. My daughter went to nap a little girl and woke up an angry woman mad at the world. Just watched the DVR. Of course, Roman was good, but Godoy Cruz got hosed on two obvious plays. They would have lost either way, but I'm surprised they did not make strong appeals on either play. 3 points clear at the top for now.

Aside from the three guys offside on the Mouche goal, what was the other one?

Not long after his goal, Insaurralde committed an obvious foul in the box, the kind of foul that I would have been livid if the refs missed it for Boca. It could have been 1-1 at that point, and might have been a different match. Though I doubt it.

I think I know which foul you're talking about. I really think we let up on GC as the match went on. There were times when we chose to pass when we could have pushed on goal.

On the other hand, they practically attempted murder on el Burrito Rivero and the ref didn't even call a foul. I hope he's ok.

Things are looking good for Boca, with Arsenal, Tigre and Newells failing to win. Three points up with nine to play.
