There are three changes from the starting lineup that defeated Tigre last week.

On defense, Caruzzo is injured, so Guillermo Burdisso will make his much expected debut for Boca Juniors. We can only hope that he becomes the great defender that his brother was.

In midfield, Erviti is out, so we get another chance to see the great promise, Juan Sanchez Miño. As much as I like Erviti, I always look forward to see SM in action. I think it's about time he gets a starting job, because I truly believe this kid will be a great one for Boca, and also the solution for the left side of the National Team in Brazil. Ideally I'd like to see him start as left fullback, and move Clemente to the right. But mostly I just want to see him play.

On attack, El Tanque returns from his suspension and will partner Viatri in a double 9. Hopefully we'll get goals and no red cards from him.

The weather in Buenos Aires is not cooperating. Some matches have already been suspended. The fate of the match at La Bombonera will probably be determined in a couple of hours.

What exactly is going on with the weather? For the suspended matches, have they announced make up dates yet?

It rained here for 5 days straight without stopping until a few hours ago. And it wasn't just Bs As they suspended Colon vs. Belgrano last night, and Santa Fe is over 400 km away. That game will be played today, Racing vs. Independiente will be played tomorrow at 11 am

and btw boca is winning, gol de burdisso after some pathetic attemp at goalkeeping from cambiasso

Another good result for the boys. I was only able to watch bits and scraps (will watch DVR later) so I don't get a good sense of how well they played. That said, can't argue with the result. I feel a lot better about things than I did this time 2 weeks ago.

It's hard to fly under the radar when you're Boca Juniors.

I'll have to watch it tomorrow. It's nice to see we won again today. Awesome that Burdisso scored in his debut, how cool is that? And Silva scoring two is nice, I hope he can keep it up.

Unfortunately had to miss this game due to an emergency and to top it off the DVR didn't ********ing record:mad: If anyone knows where to find some way to re-watch the match I'd be indebted. On the bright side, my buddy didn't have a heart attack, just anxiety..........his son just had his deployment to Afghanistan extended for the fourth consecutive time. What was that campaign promise Obama made?

I'm going to watch it today. Looking forward to witnessing with my own eyes the alleged "vast conspiracy" that the bitter gayinas keep moaning about. :D

BTW Moishe, I feel for your buddy. My cousin's son just got back from Afghanistan and his unit was not redeployed. The whole family is so relieved. But the kid himself actually wanted to go back.

It's amazing how amargo they are and still don't realize it. You'll also hear about how we don't play attractive football like the gayinas yet from watching the Tigre match they themselves aren't even close to playing attractive football.

I finally watched the game, and as I suspected, Saeta Rubia's rant was nothing but a tempest in a teapot.

Yes, there was a goal by All Boys that was mistakenly disallowed, but it was the lineman, not the ref, who messed up. And it was one of those plays that you need to freeze the action and draw a line in order to realize that the lineman was wrong by inches. A very difficult play to call either way. Hardly the makings of a vast conspiracy.

And as far as Schiavi, yeah, he did push a guy and he could have gotten a second yellow. It would not have been wrong if he did, but give it a rest, the play happened in the 45th minute of the second half with Boca up by two goals. It wasn't going to affect the score or the match either way, so let it be.

Let the amargos rant, but it was nothing like the obvious penalty not called against River, that the ref let go and probably would have influenced the final result of the match.

But what really impressed me about the game was the performance of Sanchez Miño. That kid is a crack, it's truly a pleasure to watch.
