Did GolTV drop the rights to broadcast the Boca/River games because I don't see them scheduling the first games. The quality on TyC is terrible and I'm not in the mood to stream online.

Its a bit quiet on here tonight...

So, not a great first half, we move quicker without roman but theres not much intelligent play, we get to the final third and dont know what to do.

Silva sent off after 16 mins for a stupid violent reaction.

So far not much to shout about, but viatri is very involved and somoza/ledesma/erviti are all getting in on the action. COme on BOCA!!!

The less said about last nights game the better. Disgraceful. I'm already preparing myself for a tough year. Falcioni will leave and they'll bring in Palermo, or worse Diego.

Relax! No one's gone anywhere. Though admittedly, I'm still like a dazed boxer trying to recover from that Libertadores final blow, and of course, Roman leaving. Hell, I've been feeling a bit jaded about sports in general lately. I needed to be unplugged for a while. But now I'm back.
By the way, can anyone post highlights of this debacle?

I was just poking some fun, but it seems angelici is similar to Aguilar... He sold half your team and only signed ustari who hadnt played football in over a year.

If angelici wants to fix this situation, he should bring in Russo or another manager who would convince riquelme to return.... As a river fan though, I'd love to see maradona get a chance :D

Not the ideal way to start a tournament. Come back, Riquelme!!!

Naughty boy :) I suppose you guys are allowed to have a dig, since weve been lauging at river for the past 2 years))

It pains me to say it, but i dont think riquelme is the answer. We need to reduce the age of that midfield and get players in that have a bit more pace, plus someone to replace mouche.

Im not sure that falcioni will last the tournament, which is a shame because it wasnt him who sold half the team, yet he will get the flack for it and lose his job, whereas that fat mafioso will still be there to cock things up further.

At least u boca fans recognize when a president is corrupt... We have river fans on these boards who still support Passarella after going down and barely winning the b with the best squad, erasing cave and Chori... Hiring a DT like almeyda

What I hate about football Argentino is that it can't be just a little corrupt, they have to go all in and ********ing destroy everything. They bastards barely try to hide it which is insult enough.

Falcioni is paranoid. There is no "fantasma de Riquelme".

    Let's look at the facts:
-He starts Ustari who has not trained with his teammates and hasn't played an official game of football in over FOURTEEN MONTHS.
-He starts Chavez as an enganche even though everybody knows that Falcioni's prefered formation is 4-4-2. And he only does it because he doesn't want to look like the reason why Roman left.
-He continues to play Viatri and Silva together even though it has proven multiple times in the past that it JUST DOESN'T WORK.
-He neglects the pibes. Sanchez Miño only played THREE minutes against Quilmes. There's no way to justify that.

People blamed riquelme for boca being so bad when he was there, so how can it still be his faukt when he's left?

About the pibes you are spot on, we were offered 15 million euros last year for araujo, but we rejected it saying 'he will be sold for millions in the future' OK, so i assumed that meant he would become a part of our team and play a part in our future, but no, he hardly has a game and gets sold for half the price.
