Se viene el clásico. Boca visita a Independiente. Boca busca repuntar en el torneo local, mientras prioritiza la copa Libertadores. Los diablos están peleando el descenso y necesitan puntos desesperadamente.

Laverni's face always looks like he is a referee just to mess around and is very-very happy about it.

Why do Boca's matches involve sooo many penalties these days, both for and against?

Thanks for missing the two players offsides, Laverni & co. That said, I don't see why Clemente got caught out so far up the pitch and why no one was near the rebound after Orion was heroic once again.

Our outfield players should donate 50% of their wages to orion, seriously. Without him we would have been seriously humiliated today, and deservedly so. Ive never seen a game where we have been so completely dominated by another team, we literally struggled to put two passes together.

That said, our defense held out quite well, considering how awful it has been recently. Thats about the nearest thing to a positive i can find from this.

Amount of red cards and penalties we give away is ridiculous. It seems like every game!Orion outstanding again but still another mediocre result.

Orion has been so epic for boca this season i have to admit. He's the most in form keeper in argentina. I hate the man, but i have to admit he should probably be in the nt ahead of the muerto romero.

5 weeks to the superclasico... Who will arrive better? River started well, but but both sides are showing some poor football at the moment.

River have lost form last few games but Boca still are further off finding a winning formula in my opinion. We have the right man for the job though,we will get there.

Bianchi is a defensive specialist. I am shocked at how bad Boca's defense is. Its won of the worst in the league. Luckily, you people have Orion who saves you.

River has a good team, the problem is we don't have a playmaker. If River had D'alessandro or Aimar, we'd win the league without losing a game. Sadly, we have no one to fill that role. Luckily, it appears Aimar and Saviola and Demichelis will be returning next season, so... good luck.

BTW I think you boca fans should admit, it wasn't bianchi that won you those titles. It was Macri.

Have you seen Demichelis lately? He is terrible!I would be delighted to see him at River lol.Aimar and Saviola might still have something to offer but would not get too carried away .Unbeaten seasons are hard to come by.

Demichelis is a great player. His team is in the quarterfinals de champions. Criticize him all you like.

As for Aimar and Saviola... don't get scared.

As bad as the defense has been they actually started player better once Cellay was sent off. The penal against Carruso was a tough call that could have gone either way from watching the replay. Of course being down a player and little from the midfield it took a goal that should have been called offside to cost us two additional points.

It's clear that all our ambition is in the Libertadores and the torneo is about testing players and sorting things out. As poorly as we are playing with a good run of form we could easily jump up in the standings. It doesn't look good but I'll stay optimistic.

Aimar and Saviola were great players, would be nice to see them back in Argentina.I don't think I would be too scared!
As for Boca,we are off the pace, but no need to panic. We will come good.We are just dropping a few points while trying to find our best team.
