And I felt for certain that Bob Bradley would honor Boswell and let him get his 4th cap during this next match on the schedule.

This thread is pointless, but it should be noted that Blanco was not named to Mexico's roster for their friendly on 2/6.

At least Bouna got some minutes in Senegal's final game at the ANC.

Maybe a close call for B. Bradley; maybe not.

I think Boswell would be the first to admit that he needs to get his head together and raise the level of his play.

A spot on the USMNT right now might be the worst thing for him. He plays best when he's a bit of an underdog.

If he keeps his nose to the grinstone in Houston, he'll be back.

Where have you been? Marc Burch and Clyde Simms are the new Boswell: undeserving players who the DC claqueurs will loudly demand a call-up for.

Seriously - shut up and take your constant DC bashing to the rivalries forum. Your act is tired and worn. I have lost track of how many threads you have derailed with this shit.

I agree. Some moderation might be necessary.

The topic is "marginal players who some Big Soccer posters want to see called up to the USMNT."

My post is germane to the subject. Your whining isn't.

Yeah, especially since he's out of touch with the commonly accepted DC Haters mantra...

"DC fans hate the US Men's National team, and care only for our own club, Country be dammed."

So why would we want Burch and Simms to go anywhere...? ;)

Thanks for the neg rep! As if I give a damn.

I thought Andy's post was funny, because Boswell's largely DC-based fan club was always calling for caps for him. Is it N&A? Not really, but to blast me in particular for keeping the theme going is ridiculous. I'll wear that kind of neg rep like a war medal.

Too bad; I bet Boswell would have thrown a sweet party down in Texas.

You realize that before this picture was taken, he'd already expressed his desire (to the FO) to be traded away to another MLS team, so it doesn't count as a burn anymore.

Sorry to burst your bubble. :D

I'd hook a brother up, but apparently I gotta spread it around.

You see, this is just another reason this thread belongs in Rivals, because Andy just left himself wide open for a great vulgar comeback.

Plus it's a stupid premise in the first place. The list of people who were "not" called up for the USMNT this time is a tad bit larger than the list of who has been.

For example: "Andy Mead left out of United States Squad"

But hey, it's the offseason.

Duh. Thanks for overexplaining the thread.

It was a passive aggressive thread in response to the equally out of place "David Beckham left out of England squad" thread started in MLS N&A.

This thread, in reality, has nothing to do with Boswell. I could have easily put in Davy Arnaud, Ugo Ihemelu, or any other number of MLS players.

Some of you folks are trying too hard.

Oh, is that what it was

Gee, thanks for your refreshing infusion of "gut-busting funny" into our lives. We are all lucky to have you and your humor around.
