Good grief. The Cobi Jones bobblehead is one of the few where the doll was made better-looking than the original.

Is it just me, or does Josh Wolff look extra white?

Wolff is a redneck all right, but the bobblehead looks too dam white. I guess they ran out of paint and started using the office white out.

Just a reminder, breaking the ponytail off the Jeff Agoos bobblehead does not make it more authentic...or more valuable.

Uh oh, are these ones hand painted by the local senior citizen's home, like the Goose ones were?

The local senior citizens' home would have done a better job. :)

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp If they are, hopefully it doesn't mean that Goose and Dayak are ready for a senior citizen's home!

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp It's strange how the promotional picture of the Agoos bobblehead looked rather decent, yet the actual Agoos bobbleheads were not.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Hopefully such won't be the case with the Dayak bobbleheads...

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp I'm happy to say that the Troy Dayak bobblehead (with customized Troy Dayak box) was indeed made by Bobble Dreams, the same company that made the Landon Donovan and Joe Cannon bobbleheads, and is of equally-good quality. :)

Yes, Goodsie. I agree! Nice bobbleheads for the Cowboy.

But Albany tried to hand me a broken one. It was broken off at the ankle. I was upset that someone could break their Cowboy bobblehead. But even more upset to see that if they were gonna do that they couldn't even get it right and break it off at the knee. :p

In all seriousness, that presentation by the REAL Cowboy at half-time was very nice. What a classy guy! :D

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp At least Albany wasn't using his bobblehead as a voodoo doll (although trying to stick pins in the bobblehead would've been futile anyway)... at least I think he wasn't.

That wasn't my bobblehead. Picking it up, I felt sorry for it, and wondered if someone would give it a home. :(
I promised the one I got to a friend, but fortunately a very kind young lady wearing a Roner shirt gave me hers, so I have another, in mint condition, as well. :)

Sorry for the cross post but I just had to put this comment from that aftergame party yesterday at the Brit in its place.
    --------------

I even saw Ray Hudson sulking in a Beer. :)
That one was classic especially when they gave him a Joe Cannon BobbleHead Doll and he said he would stick pins in it.
(I responded with that is fine as he was now with the Rapids) :)

I've always been keen on Bobble Dreams for their quality production. This is a much better improvement compared to Jeff Agoos in 2001.

I did see Ray Hudson hang out post game--be nice to have a talking bobblehead of him--think of all the quotes they can put in... good chap though--didn't have that 1983 Fort Lauderdale Strikers media guide so the game card had to do for his sig.

He may have to stick pins on all the bobbleheads if he's going to get a result.

Next, I'll take a Richard Mulrooney and an oldschool John Doyle bobble! Heck a series would be nice.

Even surprising was that there were still some bobbleheads close to game time, though the gate hoppers were there with their stack. Anyone check ebay to see if it's "hot" in demand?

    Cheers!

Damn, Nap, you should have said something...I think I've got that '83 guide...I just got it from a friend that I work with at SJ Giants (the official scorekeeper). He just spotted me the Fort Lauderdale, Tampa Bay, and Montreal guides from '82 & '83.

Now those were great Florida teams!! I loved the Strikers and Rowdies...especially Tampa Bay. The Manic sucked. They were about as worthless as the Expos.

Actually one of those Manic teams was pretty damn good...I think it was '82...they were a playoff team. I think Bob Rigby played in goal for that '82 team (before he came to the Quakes in '83).

Does the Dayak bobble come with a neck brace?

    YES, YES! and YES!

LOL! There are 7 Troy bobbles listed as of this writing. The highest bid so far...$20.45 with more than a day left in the auction. And it's not even autographed!! Kind of makes that "what you spend at spartan" thread a little more tolerable if you're the seller!

Last year there was the Troy Dayak bobblehead.

Which Earthquakes player will have a bobblehead depicted of him this season, and on which home game will it be passed out to the crowd?

    GO EARTHQUAKES!!!

The Earthquakes site says that an LD bobblehead will be passed out to the first 5,000 fans on September 25 in the SJ-LA game.
