Thanks for the prick comment that added a lot. No one had posted anything about so I figured I would. He discusses how players pioneered for others and he hopes to do the same for coaches. Also talks about what JK said about still not having the respect of Europeans and needed to prove ourselves. Would be interesting to hear what he really thinks of his sons return to the mls.

There is a thread on it in the Yanks Abroad forum.

Sorry, man - I was being prickish (intentionally). There is a thread in YA already, but mostly your post made it seem like you just found out.

I knew it happened but didn't look in the yanks abroad. Kinda forgot about that forum. I knew it happened but was wondering why it wasn't being discussed.

Can't begin to pronounce Norwegian, but if Bob's story was a piece of fiction I'd groan at the name "Stabaek FC."

Stay back? Stab back? I'd be guessing at the outcome. Hmm, Willy Loman... how's he gonna do?

Pronounce the first "a" as in "aw" in "straw" and pronounce "baek" as in the first syllable of David Beckham's last name.

    Piece of cake.

So I guessed correctly, funny enough, but if I was a really bad writer, I would come up with a place like this for Bradley.

Yes, that’s where Mix started. Wonder if he’ll join Bradley there?

Would love to see him grow a good grey/white beard to go with his bald head ... would be just awesome. And a couple of neck tats.

    Stabaek is awful.

The Norwegian league is like MLS. They're mid-season.
    They're in 15th place out of 16.

So this is a real relegation battle he has on his hands.
And it seems they just hired him to get thru this season. Not a long-term contract.

Anyway, nice opportunity to get back out there and coach.

I here Arena is available....Too soon?

Life as a coach. Did not think that he would be back to Norway and for the same team to coach. Good luck!
