I never doubted he would leave this season...but not a club like Braga.

Knowing how crap we are playing and how average this team looks like...it really makes no diff.
I'm anxiously waiting for winter (cus of the elections) so that j. loureiro get his ass out of the club.

Instability in Boavista, fans demand explanation to the financial crysis.

    http://www.record.pt/noticia.asp?id=755731&idCanal=12

After hearing his words he seems reasonable...but Boavista having a turnover of 30/35 million euros per year is a little hard to believe in...

Boavista lost home against Maritimo by 2 - 0.

    quoting myself:

"Even though Boavista sucked, R. Silva was the only CB available and Pacheco decided to bet on a midfielder with small height to pair with him...oh and his stubborness in using Fary upfront which is something i don't understand.
Our midfield was reasonable since they flowed well with the ball (special mention to Fleurival) but the defense was in ruins and only Gilberto at the right played above average. Upfront it was ridiculous...we have an average team and a bad coach, I really can't except more."

I am sorry to rain on your parade, but Moisés is one of the worst CBs that I have seen wear my club's jersey. Sporting was very lucky that the signing did not go through..

Final signings: Moisés on loan from Cruzeiro and Mateus from Gil Vicente. (yes, the famous "Caso Mateus" : P)

    http://www.record.pt/noticia.asp?id=755973&idCanal=12

we're becoming a national joke...Moisés has negative critics in every team he plays for and Mateus supposedly has hepathitis b...guess the doctors were wrong...

Loureiro just put the last nail in his coffin.

Methues will add a much needed bolster in your attack alonside Sambegou Bangoura who scored 40 goals in 58 games in Belgium.

David Fleurival will add a great game in your mid he is similiar to Tiago of Juventus

If Jaouad Zairi is back then watch out beacuse if he gets his game together than man oh man.

Mourtala Diakité is very very similar to Diarra of Real Madrid but started for small teams and are working up the ladder.

By janruary this team will be alot better

    Paços de Ferreira 1 - 1 Boavista

The goal of Bandoura was clearly offside and it's hard to believe the linesman didn't see it.

Anyway, both Bandoura (great replacement for Linz!) and Mateus gave good signs that they can make damage in the future. The angolan needs rhythm though.
From what I saw i liked the display of Gilberto (right-back) and Ivan Santos (playmaker), both products of Boavista.
Marcelão looks slightly better than R. Silva and the pair Fleurival/Diakité is good.

As for tactics, it's noticeable how Pacheco is a bad coach. It's obvious that using THREE DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS kills the creativity out of any team. Olifume is decent but I would rather Mateus or Ivan Santos play behind Bangoura.
He placed Mateus as a left winger and Rissutt as a left back. It worked well with the brazilian but not with the angolan. Pacheco simply sucks with his agressive mentality and has no sense of tactical schemes.

I'm happier with the look of this team and if Pacheco wakes the hell up and pus the players where they belond, at a short-term the team can be a serious candidate for the top 5.

Finnaly, Pacheco says in the flash interview that it's possible that Boavista is going to hire another player. Considering that the deadline is over, until monday any club can sign players free of contract. Let's what await us...

Anyway, so far to what I know, this looks like the ideal team to me:

    -------------------------C. Fernandes------------------------

    Rissutt--------------R. Silva-----------Marcelão---------M. Silva

    ----------------------------Fleurival---------------------------

    ------------------------------Diakité--------------------------

    Laionel-------------------------------------------------Grzelak

    --------------------------Mateus------------------------------

    -------------------------------Bangoura----------------------

    Bench:

    Peter Jehle
    Gilberto
    Moisés
    Olifume
    H. Monteiro
    Ivan Santos
    Edgar

Note: Due to burocratic problems, the 17 year old colombian Brayan Angulo is only going to be with the squad at the winter. Kifuta and Liendo agreed a mutual release with the club. Nuno was loaned to Trofense.

I know that linesman cost me 3 points in the prediction league. ;)

As for the game I just thought, that in the second half when Boavista was getting more control of the ball, they just had no width, and the polish player just kept coming in the middle instead of staying out wide.

With Kalanga and Ribeiro in the squad they came to fill very important positions. Kalanga already rate him better than Laionel or H. Monteiro. The portuguese disappointed me with this apathy and the brazilian only have good sporadic moments.
Finnaly, J. Ribeiro is more competent on the left side than M. Silva that is too slow nowadays.

Still, too many players in this squad. 5 or 6 need to leave at the winter transfer period.

Artur never really made a very strong impact in Boavista. If I had to put him, then Silva (o pistoleiro) should be there as well.

As for Marlon, I might be wrong but I think he never played much games for Boavista even though he was really a good player.
