Since the game threads are increasingly congested, I propose that in the future we try to segment the threads to keep like-minded discussion/chat in its appropriate place. For instance, we could have a "Dallas v. X Pre-Game/In-Game/Post-Game Analysis" thread that would concentrate on the happenings on the field, while another "Dallas v. X Build-up/Wind Down" thread that would concentrate on ticket deals, tailgating, Inferno stuff, etc.

i don't know if i could ever conform to anything that keeps me from spewing random chatter in every direction on any thread, but dammitall i'll try. i hate to bring the good soccer conversation to a halt with perpetual beer/nookie girl posts.

    all in favor?

Being one of the main culprits of thread hijacking for Inferno/tailgate purposes, I agree with this proposal. So, in the future we should have the "Official Pre/Post [Game] thread" and the "UnOfficial Festivities [Game] thread". Whereas [Game] would be replaced by the appropriate matchup. Sounds good to me.

Maybe it needs it's own thread every week.

I am in open rebellion against the combination pre/during/post game thread. I simply don't want to have to muck around after the game in a 4 or 6 page thread to find the beginning of the post-game comments. Consequently, I will be starting separate Post-Game threads immediately after each game in order to subvert the authority of the hated combo thread. If I am alone in my beliefs, and the revolution falters, so be it, but I plan to go down fighting.

    Viva la revolucion!

    Excellent idea.

Let's have one thread for pre-game/Inferno chit-chat, and another thread for post-game analysis.

For me, its as easy as clicking the "go to first new post" icon on the left hand side of the thread title. Of course, this is done after logging into my account at BS.

It will take you to the first new post on that thread since you last logged out of BS.

I am in favor of a pre-game thread and postgame [R] thread.
