Bo Oshoniyi & the Super Eagles: A match made in heaven?

    Well, as a DCU fan, his performance in the playoffs was scary enough that I thought United might not win the title, so I think the Eagles should give him a look given his recent performance and Nigeria's notorious goalkeeping problems. I just wonder about his citizenship if he hasn't been to Nigeria since he was 3 -- seems to me he'd have some issues proving his "connection" to his "homeland."

    In many countries, such 'connections' are interpreted very generously. Think Jack Charlton's Ireland or even the USA teams of the early-90s. If the Nigerian FA want him, they'll find a way to find that 'connection.'

    The real question is the internal politics within the NFA and if calling up Oshoiniyi will piss someone else off.

    Nahhh,Bo Oshoniyi may be on form but he's like 33 years of age...Too little too late I guess unfortuneately....
