Dean Moree scored the games only goal as the club from the Tikva neighborhood hopes to progress to the next round. If they don't win at Bloomfield next week, I will be a bit surprised.

The Tikva Neighborhood Stadium is not suitable for Ligat ha'Al matches so I don't think it would make the grade for European play.

Bnei Yehuda won 3-0, Pedro Galvan scored twice, and Moshe Biton scored later on. I watched the game, and I was wondering why last year Eliran Atar didnt get called up last year, now i know why, he has a poor first touch, he cant finish, and plays with a bad attitude

Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv versus Dinaburg FC
    16.07.2009

I have a meeting in Tel Aviv that day, so I will probably head to the match in the afternoon. I hope that Bnei Yehuda does well in the qualifying rounds and picks up some nice coefficients. Though I have no idea if they will ever get to play in Europe again.

^Highlights of the match. The 2nd and 3rd goals are beautiful. snowbozo, I see what you're saying about Atar, the run he made without the ball was great but the touch in front of goal was terrible.

It's really nice to see a smaller club like Bnei Yehuda win in Europe, even at the lowest level. I assume the Latvian team will be better, so it will interesting but I think Bnei Yehuda has good chance in that one too.

12th minute and it looks like a replica of yesterday's game.

Israeli team is controlling the game and the other team is counting on their counter attack. And I must say, their wingers are very speedy and do look dangerous.

Bnei Yehuda really controlled the game and on the 25th minute deservingly scored!

    1:0

They probably need one or 2 more goals in the game to be completely satisfied.

2:0 on a beautiful header before the half. And it looked like Bnei Yehuda was due to score. The Latvian team seemed dejected after the first goal. This might be a repeat of yesterday.

3:0 on a beautiful passing combination after controlling the entire 2nd half so far (as I am writing this it almost became 4:0).

Bnei Yehuda look much better than they did last week. But as always midfield passing must get better and better.

Atar looks great in this game.

4:0 final in a game that could have been 10:0

There was never any doubt and the Latvian team was lucky to escape with only 4:0

Second half was a dominant performance.

We played well but the finshing was terrible... we could have easily won this game 7-0.... The latvian team in my eyes stinks....

CHEERS FOR MOVING ON TO ROUND 3 of QUALIFYING.... yes i am positive we wont lose 4-0 in latvia... in fact i predict a 3-0 win.

Eliran Atar, Pedro Galvan are fantastic players!
I think that Bnei Yehuda could win this game with 12-0.

At least a good result and we can see that Israeli teams are at least better than teams from Latvia and Northern Ireland :p

Galvan was great. I think he might be Riquelme in disguise. ;)

Atar was much than the last round, showed some nice skill. Also credit to the few Bnei Yehuda supporters there, they were really loud despite only filling like one section of the stadium. More people need to come for the next game, even if they don't support Bnei Yehuda.

If Bnei Yehuda progress to the next round (which is pretty much assured), they will play the winner of FC Paços de Ferreira and FC Zimbru Chişinău.

Paços de Ferreira would not be an easy game, but definitely winnable.

    Result

Paços de Ferreira 0-0 Bnei Yehuda
    Halftime

Apparently, Marwan Radi missed in front of the goal. I hope that Bnei Yehuda can score at home because it will be harder in Portugal.
