"The Los Angeles Blues are excited to announce they have secured the services of former Kitsap Pumas and University of San Francisco star Bryan Burke for the 2012 USL PRO campaign, pending league approval. The 22-year-old joins the Fullerton-based club following his MVP performance in the Premier Development League championship game, in which he assisted on Robby Christner’s 11th minute goal that gave the Pumas a 1-0 victory over the Laredo Heat..."

This kid is a playmaker, awesome for the LA Blues. He gave the majority of the assists to Conner Chin during his college career and learned to be a forward for the Pumas in one season.

ALLEZ BRYAN! We will miss you this season.

I'm sure Bryan appreciates the kind words!

We're all extremely excited too have him on board for 2012. He has really proven himself in training and seems like a very good professional despite his young age.

Has anyone else seen him play?

I saw him in the final on tv. Seems like a good player. And goal scorers are always hard to find. Interesting to see how his transition to the next level goes.

Looking forward to see who else you sign in the off season. But really looking forward to see who you sign the ticket sales Director position. That should help you just as much as a goal scorer.

Agreed. We're working hard to improve our performance on and off the field. As far as Bryan is concerned, it might interest you that our coaches are actually looking to use him as a right outside back. The article goes into detail on that.

I was actually very impressed with Burke playing defense against the Rhinos, some great saves. Still a huge fan of him in the outside mid position.
