I noticed that the Galaxy are promoting a white-out on their board for the first round of the playoffs. Everyone wearing white. It would be real cool if the Quakes could promote everyone wearing blue. I was impressed by South Korea Fans and the sea of red. Maybe something like " If you wear blue, it's a Una Mas taco for you!". Just a thought. Discuss
Good ideas, but how would we get the majority of the fans to wear blue?!? I know for hockey its a tradition with Phoenix (Winnepeg).. so they know in advance..
I never understood why the Quakes don't promote something like this, Another idea they could steal from the Metrostars, is a banner contest. I was there a few years ago when this happened, and the place was filled with banners made by the fans.
80% will be banners for Landon Donovan, and girls like twell_girl would hold theirs up all game and interfear with other peoples view of the game.. Blue-out = Good Banner night = Stay in NY
It's going to hard to get a blue-out for that last game when approximately 10,000 people will be wearing those give-away Landon Donovan Orchard Supply shirts unless those shirts are blue instead of white like last year's model.
