blue laws

    blue laws (attention out of town fans!)

    Just a heads up to all the fans coming in from other states....
    MA has blue laws which means that liquor and/or beer stores are NOT open on sunday. So buy the beverage of your choice on saturday!

    Well, that's not completely true. Package stores in towns within 10 miles of the New Hampshire or Vermont border are open on Sundays..

    They need to repeal the blue laws. It's just a plain unconstitutional throwback to religion dictating government.

    And it means I can't by my bottle of Milagro Anejo Tequila on Sunday, dammit.

    Please tell me the pubs are open Sunday night. I'm hoping to do a bit of celebrating.

    Well, I hope you don't have much to celebrate about ;), but pubs will be open Sunday night.

    The Blue Laws are a joke though. Sometimes you just need to budge from "tradition and heritage."
