I know I am late to this, but I thought this was a terrific movie. You know exactly what is going to happen, and yet the way the filmaker put it together really made it suspenseful. I am curious as to how it was accepted in England and Ireland.
I also heard it was great. I am considering picking it up on DVD, though I haven't seen it. The reviews were all excellent.
It was taken very well here in the South, but apparently Unionists/Loyalists didn't like how it portrayed them - tough sh!t, I say. It wasn't very big though, straight to TV movie
Thanks billy. Although I don't think it portrayed their side very favorably, I really don't remember anyone other than the Brits being portrayed truly badly. I'll need to rewatch it.
