The all powerful idiots at the FA have shown once again that they are incompitant and only concerned with enforcing stupid laws.

Thomas Graverson has NOT been charged with any offence over his "tackle" on Olivier Bernard in the Newcastle vs Everton game. They claim it's because the referee did not include it in his match report. This is unbelivable because it happen right infront of him and he looked back several times. How did he know that Bernard hadn't swallowed his tounge or was bleeding all over the pitch. I am not bitter that if he had stopped the game Everton would have not scored.

Even though it can be seen on video tape it can not be taken any further because the FA belive if they discipline players for incidents included in the match report it undermines the referee's power.

So yet another red card tackle goes unpunished and the referee continues to take charge of Premiership games when he has shown that he is incapable and incompitant. And on the same note Sol Campbell gets banned for a non deliberate light hit on the face of Solskjaer.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???????

    Yes I agree.

I thought exactly the same a couple of seasons back when Alan Shearer kicked Neil Lennon in the head and got away with it.

Actually, a real 'bloody outrage' is the fact that the Arse somehow got 6 minutes of added on time at the end of the second half today against Bolton. No-one gets 6 minutes!

Well...some teams do...usually the ones that complain about losing the most.

    Odd correlation that isn't it?

There were six minutes because of three lengthy injuries to Arsenal players, max substitutions and a red card. I wasn't at all surprised by six minutes; seemed fair enough to me.

we only got 4 because of one really lengthy stoppage in Leeds yesterday.

The 6 min makes perfect sense when you know what happened in the match with the 3 big injuries.

You better pull that tape out again. I'm not sure what Sol's intentions were but he definitely got Solskjaer very hard in the face, not lightly. I do not like either team, but having seen that replay numerous times, you are absolutely wrong.

I thought almost no contanct was made with his face. Most of it was with the forearm on Solskjær's chest.

I only saw two different angles of the replay so it's hard to tell. One looked like Sol got Ole Gunnar pretty hard. Another angle looked like he just pushed him off with his hand and forearm. I don't know though. All I do know is that the violent conduct is BS.

Yes, that was the angle facing Sol where it was very difficult to tell. The other angle was much clearer. And to add to that, as much as we (the bigsoccer population) slam officials, I am trusting the linesman on this one as he was right there. He said it was intentional as well.

Duncan Ferguson elbowed some Villa player in the face the last game for no reason whatsoever. I think he just felt like. But I guess that would not be included in the match report by the ref.

Let's see if he get's banned or charged.

Come on, it wasn't that bad. At least Gravesen did take his foot away.

Because you know that we deserved and would have won anyway?

I'm surprised Shearer called Gravesen a coward over it, after all I remember him kicking someone in the face, his foot no where near the ball. And in the same game as the "Gravesen foul" Shearer ripped Wrights shorts with his studds, and could have seriously injured him, people forget that.
