I thought I would start this on the indoor thread since it perhaps wouldn't work on the Fire thread.

Anyway, it is 1-0 Storm as Novi scored off a free kick in the first quarter.

Blast have so many injuries that coach Tim Wittman has signed himself to a 15-day contract. It is his first action in ten years!

how can a team, that has what 5 games under its belt already, be so riddled with injuries that they are signing emergency players to 15 day contracts??? sounds to me they have so few on the roster/payroll to begin with... BUT... im sure tim witman can hold his own

Once again, the Storm score first thanks to Novi. Not much else to this first quarter.

    From the Blast Web Site:

Due to injuries to six players, the Blast has signed head coach Tim Wittman and Machel Millwood to 15-day/five-game contracts. The Blast is playing tonight witout Danny Kelly, Allen Eller, P.J. Wakefield, Adilson De Lima, Denison Cabral and Carlos Garcia.

Baltimore has 13 players, tonight. League rules say you must suit at least 12 on gameday.

HT: Baltimore Blast 1-2 Chicago Storm:

An okay first half for the Storm as they go into the locker room with the lead, but will be a man down to start the second half.

Correction: No blue card on Guastaferro. He did get a five-minute penalty (yellow card). Both teams are at full strength.

END OF 3RD QUARTER: Baltimore Blast 1-3 Chicago Storm

Things were pretty dull in this quarter until Stewart's goal. First time that the Storm has posted a clean sheet in the third quarter.

You perhaps thought I would say something lame like "Baltimore keeps blasting it off the wall"!

    Waltman makes a crucial save.
