I probably spelled his name wrong, but it looks like the Hoosier is coming back home according to the rumors.
Huh, that's good for the Blast and hopefully for him too. BY the way Hangthadj, do you know if Paul Dolinsky still plays for the Blast, I know he played with them last year. Just curious...
He's not shown on the roster, but this is the first game I will see them play this year, so who knows.
You are close - it's Alavanja (no 'e' in there). BTW, he used to play for White Eagles of Indiana - a Serbian team in NW Indiana that many of my friends from college played on years ago. I still say that it's good one of the 'boys' finally made it to the pros!

His bio on the Riverhounds website says his father's name is John. Couldn't tell you if it's the same guy. http://www.riverhounds.com/hounds/players/dolinsky.htm
Paul Dolinsky's father, John, is indeed the same guy. And now the Blast have signed Jamar Beasley. Where are they getting the money to get these ex-MLS guys?
Bealey is playing with Charleston. And I would imagine that they haven't increased their payroll that much. If those players still want to play, they can't be too picky on salary. There aren't a lot of other options of where ot play.
I love that the Blast is getting agressive with these signings. I don't know how much Jamar can help, but i think its a good move
McDonald Influence Most of the new signings have new (and former) coach Jimmy McDonald's fingerprints all over them, especially the former Canadian Nat youth player.Jimmy played pro and for the nats in Canada. Hey kenntomasch-were you a sports anchor in Indy?
In another life, yes. In the interests of full disclosure, I also worked for the Blast and Jimmy McDonald is a good friend of mine.
My disclosure I coach and my kids play in a local soccer club in which Jimmy serves as Head Coach.I am excited that he is back at the helm for the Blast.Although their record doesn't show it yet, I think he will turn things around.
