    Holy molasses, is Blanc ever slow. He looked like he was running with combat boots on, when he was beat on that first goal against Deportivo.

    The ManU kids look like they all need some seasoning. One kid was fairly fast, I forget if it was Fletcher or Lynch, but he had some real speed.

    Blanc has been past it for quite some time now.
    He should have went out with Deschamps.

    Quite what Fergie saw in him-apart from expierence-is a little strange to say the least.

    Blanc has never been quick in feet, but in thought. He is past it but despite all the criticism he played very well last season.
