    According to Soccernet:

    Shots (on Goal)
    Blackburn 8 (5)
    Liverpool 21 (14)

Looks like Friedel is having a great game. MOTM?

When God is your keeper, he usually looks pretty good...

Outshot them 21-8. Outcornered them 10-5.

Most importantly, we outscored them 3-1.

    Once again, with enthusiasm

    "We love you Lanky
    Oh yes we do
We love you Lanky and will be true"

Thanks again for an awesome performance --- see you in the Nest! MiniLB says thanks too. He's got Mikie and Harry in the fantasy league.

great game.. seems like we are out of the nil-nil rut and gh is actually considering attacking as an option. :)

For some reason I just went to pour myself some coffee. I can't possibly be more awake than I am right now.

    Late results:
Drunken Ferguson ties the Magpies-Blues game for a 2-2 final and JFH gets one to leave it Chelski 4-2 over Spurs.

Silly Scouser. Everybody knows God is an American. Don't you watch Fox News Channel? And, if you don't, they'll have you deported...

PA Report confirms that it was Babbel, not Neill, who injured Baros. Still no diagnosis, though the broken leg is still suspected.

Sounds like one hell of a night out! Your wife must be a regular Tasmanian Devil!

So, who's our third forward now? Clearly not moving Diouf back up there. Early baptism for Simone-Pongolle? Le Tallec is more attacking mid, but can he play up front?

Not a good situation to be in.

Hope Riise gets his act together too, in case Jamie is out a few weeks.

I'll take the points, and I'm happy to see the offensive production, but it seems we are just hexed at the moment.

    Just read about Baros

I'm not a Liverpool fan, but I thought he was a promising player and a class guy whenever I saw him play for you or for the Czechs. Real shame about the injury, and hopefully he recovers quickly.
I hope you can get by without him, except when you play Chelsea again, of course.
