Define soiled. Actually, on second thought don't.

Besides, all you have to do is imagine. It's all in the power of the mind. (I really need to find a new superstition before this one gets out of control . . . although it has been effective.)

Let's hope we break our streak of not getting results when I'm doing comms.

Just a reminder, if it's tied after 90, we get ET, then penalties.

Riise in for Hyypia, Kewell in for FSP.

    Biscan--Henchoz--Traore--Riise

    Kick off.

You know, white cotton is fantastic, but I prefer half coverage rather than full with those . . .

Gerrard forward to Biscan, Heskey onside, all alone, he didn't even hit the damn net. High AND wide. Can I suit up, please? With my broken ankle? I can whack the ball with my crutch from there and get it on net . . .

Sami was struggling with a hamstring injury, so that is no surprise.

I would have liked to see Pongolle play the full 90 minutes, but Kewell isn't a bad sub with them having 10 men.

Maybe we can get more men in their box now!

Hyppia looked injured, but why FSP? We'll need Sami for the next three games.

    More 21 man stand-around.

Blackburn throw. Taylor, edge of the box, into Cole, offside.

Biscan, Kewell, great turn, Riise deep in, Diouf, Heskey header, GOAL. Marvelous header. Way to redeem yourself. Brilliant cross from Diouf, well taken header. 1-2. Kewell started the whole thing in midfield. 49'

  10. YES! Sounds like Kewell got it started, and Emmo finished with authority.

See when I went to Soccernete and saw
"Heskey latches onto a long-ball early in the second-half and has only Friedel to beat...."

I figured I'd soon see something like this
"...the Liverpool striker drags his shot wide of the near post. A good chance that should have resulted in a goal."

    It's early yet.

I guess that's my answer. Why GH is manager and not me.

Ferguson and Reid standing over a FK, 35 yds out, central, taken short this time, Thompson in a dangerous position, gets one off, just wide.

TLT, over the top, Kewell just offside.

Murphy, to Kewell, racing in, Riise and Diouf watch a ball go in between them and into touch. What were they doing near each other?

Ferguson, at the halfway line, chips one in, Cole offside.

Match picking up pace now. Kewell, dummies Tugay, taken away by the next man. Ferguson, over the top again to Yorke, Henchoz nods it down and clears.

I think this is the second time I've said something like this only to have us play much better afterwards.

Eternal pessimism + thoughts of panties = LFC playing well.

Great linkup by Murphy and Gerrard, TLT at the top of the box, good ball into Heskey, nothing doing.

You know what I don't like? Those panties with the strings over the hips, but there's two strings, so she can lift one up over the hips and leave the other one low? Very odd . . .

Tugay, with a one two with Ferguson, Biscan wins. To TLT, fiddling, back to Biscan, thumps a ball forward, can TLT chase it down? Not quite.

Reid down the right, has to play it back to Babbel, long ball forward, offside again. Who stole GH's playbook from last year? That's their 6th or 7th offside on the long ball.

Kewell, edge of the box, Diouf, Kewell, Diouf on the left, back to Henchoz, Gerrard, one touch football, good ball by Henchoz, Riise, Kewell, TLT at the back post, tries to volley, headed behind. Corner.

Gerrard takes the corner low, cleared. 57'

Thompson off for Emerton. Odd, he's been one of their strongest players today . . .

Little possesion for Blackburn now, pushed back into their own half. Push forward, crummy cross, Kirkland takes easily.

Biscan puts Kewell through, he's all alone, he dragged it wide. Waited too long. Horrible miss by his standards. (Did Heskey put on a new shirt?)

Kewell with a good ball into Diouf, beats his man, another brilliant cross, Heskey with a magnificent header, in. 1-3. 60'

Gentlemen, monkeys are flying out of my ass.

Emile Heskey has scored twice in one game.

My BS is going haywire, some of my posts aren't posting, some posts I've already read are disappearing, very odd.

Blackburn with a couple good chances, they get nothing out of it.
