i still hope the bad feelings about that incident are there, somewhere, and people dont plan on showing up for this.
actually people are coming out of the woodwork for this http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=220303274667472&view=wall¬if_t=event_wall I know of qutie a few old faces that will be there with us
I think they let the wrong Frenchy go. This is turning out to be a bigger joke than Jankasaurus. Seriously, Nicol? you give this asshat 25 minutes in a meaningless game after weeks of being on the trainers table and this is the result. Fire the lot of them...KRAFT I BEG YOU, CLEAN HOUSE!!!
Agreed. The New England Revolution are a mockery at this point. HBS, Tuck, Babson, you looking for a case study in how not to manage? This club has mismanaged just about every function and demonstrated properly what not to do in a myriad of situations. It's just sad at this point.
Anybody get the feeling that Dabo is almost... using the Revs? Guy plays just enough to avoid termination, makes sure he makes an appearance against the Premier League champs to boost his profile, and I'm sure the heat map of his movement during the match is a little yellow dot.

Tierney at LB may give us more attacking options, but he's just not fast enough to recover and get back on D. Barnes has actually started showing some attacking chops as of late, so I'd go with this: [LINEUP-4-4-2]Mansally, Lekic, Tierney, Phelan, Feilhaber, Nyassi, Barnes, Coria, Soares, Alston, Reis[/LINEUP-4-4-2] Guy would make for a great off-the-bench sub, as would Schilawski. McCarthy scares me half to death every time he's on the field because 9/10 times he passes to the other team. We might be able to work with a 4-3-3 if his touches were better, but they're not. Hence why he's riding the bench these days.
I've started to think that the only reason Dabo hasn't been released is that the Revs didn't want to ditch their two big off-season signings at the same time -- too conspicuous an admission of failure. Instead, I imagine they'll wait to conclude a signing before quietly releasing Dabo.
This would truly be a fun place to be if the Pats were in the current condition of the Revs. The Krafties would be getting crucified in the local media and especially on the talk shows - and they'd have to answer for it. All you get from this outfit is silence.
Dabo's been injured, we can't release him. I do think he can contribute if healthy, the problem is I don't ever see him reaching that point.
I'm open-minded, but I'm not seeing it. He's slow for the pace of MLS (see, Fabian Castillo blowing by him), he doesn't move enough to show for the ball in dangerous positions, and he doesn't seem to have any motivation.
I don't think it's a lack of motivation, but rather the fact that he's 34 and unhealthy. He's never been known for speed, many central midfielders aren't very quick. It's his distribution and vision that are so well touted and that were touted in our Open Cup fixture versus Untied, I believe. He was tweeting Louis Saha yesterday about his rehab and that it's going well. I think he'd like to play, but I think he'll be another bust because he's never fit.
Listening to Chris Tierney talking about "playing our game", needing 3 points and making a run at the play offs is borderline stand up comedy.
No mention of the walkout or The Fort's silence. The cameras are going out of their way to not show The Fort as well. Close ups on Mondragon's goal kicks, abrupt stops tracking down that end of the field, etc. Pathetic Revs. And they're getting run off the field. The Revs are making it easy though, since they haven't had the ball down there for more than 5 seconds at a time.
