Well Sunday starts a rough stretch for the Revs where they'll be playing 3 games in 7 days (home Sunday, at DC Wed, at Colorado Sat). This will also be the first time the Supporters will have a chance to make a stand since the Chicago game, so that'll be interesting. Philly currently leads the East in PPG and is 2-4-3 on the road this year. BTW, not once during this three game stretch do I want to hear about fixture congestion. The Revs chose to play a friendly prior to starting what had originally been a 3 games in 8 day stretch.
Probably the same stupid lineup, something like: [lineup-4-5-1]Lekic,mansally,nyassi,Fielhaber,Joseph,Phelan,Barnes,Soares, Cochrane,Alston,Reis[/lineup-4-5-1] 4-5-1 hasn't worked all season, doubt it will work sunday
yep, Forgot all about that,,,,wow this is going to suck big time. They might just go to a 4-4-2 because of that [lineup-4-4-2]Lekic,Mansally,Guy,Phelan,Fielhaber,Nyassi,Barnes,Soares,Coria,Alston,Reis[/lineup-4-4-2]
I don't particularly like our chances in this match. [LINEUP-4-4-2] Mansally, Lekic, Tierney, Feilhaber, Dabo/Phelan, Nyassi, Domi, Soares, Coria, Alston, Reis [/LINEUP-4-4-2]
Deep into the season and I still see Phelan's name mentioned in the starting line ups. Need any more be said?
This. We need a 75'+ game winner to get 3pts. In fact, the most positive thing this team could develop between now and the end of this sorry season is a come from behind habit, and a never say lose attitude. We saw a small spark at RSL...
Dabo says he is available for selection on Wednesday V Man Utd so he should 100% be available by Sunday.
A lead which was subsequently relinquished. Douse that spark, it means nothing. My 2 cents prediction: 2-1 Philly. Just like the Founding Fathers from their respective cities, the supporters will sing with one voice against tyranny.
This is an important match for Benny. TnT ripped him pretty good on the last national telecast but I think it can take a while to recover from a sprained ankle. Revs definitely need some attacking spark.
doesn't make a difference, he will get hurt 20 minutes in anyway. besides, he is slow, fat and out of shape
I am not a die hard and I don't sit in the Fort but I do tailgate in the supporters lot as I am a member of the Rebellion. I was there for the Chicago game and saw how upset and down right pissed everyone was after the game and I have to say I am shocked there is not an organized walk out, or no cheer or outright boycott of this Philly game. Obviously there are reasons for this non action that I am not aware of but despite my seats being in the club level I would support any such action, and do the same.
Contact the Rebellion for information about the organized goings-on. It's not for public consumption, but there is a plan.
