You do know that you can change the skin by going to the lower left corner of BS and picking a much more pleasing color. Right now I think I'm using "BigSoccer X (white)".
Yes. But the white is rather bland, and the framing is funny on the 365 skin. The grey or even the yellow were miles better than this horrible black/red one. I don't know why anyone would choose to use it, its totally offputting for the site.
The Red and White we had a couple of months ago was nice. Don't quite like this Black and Red, if it was more red and less Black it'd be cool.
Actually I'm still getting the front page in red and black, despite the fact that the rest of the site seems to conform to the BigSoccerX (white) setting I've chosen.
Ah, thanks for pointing that out to me. Much better. I have adblocker on Firefox to stop all of the annoying Nike ads, then I see BigSoccer's become one giant ad....

If the black background didn't make all the little emoticons and other icons (like the one to add rep or the thumbs down message icon) look so awkward, it wouldn't be so bad. One funny thing is it makes BP's sig line look like it reads Centennial Firm - a i s u p r e s
I dig the DC United colors - but if you have a black and red background, the system has to be programmed to change some other colors so blue (for instance) doesn't seem other-worldy. My biggest complaint with the black and red is the white forum/thread text where you can't tell if new posts exist because the highlighting is way too subtle.
totaly agree. i don't like any of the 3 options. can the modes please put the gray and yellow layouts as an option into this list. somehow even this white hurts my eyes...

i totally agree... the red and black is shit! the blue one is much better... but id still prefer the yellow one!
New users will stumble upon this site during the WC and be immediately turned off by the god-awful appearance of the front page. It's your own business you're killing.
I agree. This black and red is horrible. A total turn off. Please return to the previous color scheme!
I would also like to go back to the old colors. I work in a nice sunny room and the glare is much worse with these new colors.
THIS NEW BLACK COLOUR looks horrible..it is so sad.. yellow looked more optimistic why not yellow-green? but not black please...it is depressive
