100 black teens beat 2 whites and the whites live? What kind of teen thugs are those?

The right-wing press loves stories of blacks beating on oppressed white people. The trouble is that same press is so inaccurate with its other reporting that with these stories, one never knows with these stories if they are correct or are wish fulfillment. Maybe this was truly an awful case of reverse racism. Or maybe not.

 

I didn't think JohnR would be the one to take the bait. That surprised me.

 

I'm not sure what you are getting at. It was reported in the news media (that's what the YouTube clip is).

Are you saying this should be some sort of front page news? Maybe I should call Fox news and tell them about the time a bunch of black punks started kicking in the doors of my rental car when I was stopped at a light in St. Louis.

Because, then they could talk about the increased trend in attacks on whites by black youths.

Anyway, I can't be bothered hunting down the accuracy of the story, but there's even the possibility that The Guardian is right. If 100 white teens beat up a black couple, that would be national news. Oh my goodness we'd spend a lot of time discussing that one.

That's all based on the big If that the headline to the youtube clip is remotely correct.

This case seems to be a hate crime inspired by the Trayvon Martin tragedy. So what do you want? Acknowledgement? OK, job well done.
