Still two games left, so much to be decided. Assuming finances check out, here's the picture:

RW Essen has won the RL Nord, and is PROMOTED.

Dynamo Dresden is second in the RL Nord, and would be promoted if the season ended today. The team with the best chance of catching Dresden is Wuppertal SV, who are three points behind, but Dresden has a much better goal difference. So, it looks good for Dresden--a win in their last two and they are almost definitely promoted.

Bayern Munich Amateurs are going to win the RL Sued, but they cannot promote. Therefore, the second and third placed teams will promote.

In second place is RW Erfurt, a couple points ahead of third place Saarbruecken. If the season ended today, both would promote. However, Augsburg, and to a lesser extent, Wehen, also have good chances for promotion.

Erfurt has been promoted (a good year for RW teams--hell, even Oberhausen was in the promotion chase in the 2BL). Saarbruecken still holds a one-point lead for the second promotion spot in the Sued, but there are like 5 teams who could theoretically catch them on the last Spieltag.

In the Nord, Dresden plays the last-placed team tomorrow at home; a win in that game and they are, for all intents and purposes, promoted. So it looks like two the 2.BL complement of East German teams will go up by one (losing Union but gaining Erfurt and Dresden, to go along with Aue).

I'm sooooo looking forward to this Bundesliga 2 season.. luckily DSF has the licence and can show matches in free tv :)

From a neutral fan's point of view the promotion is pretty much perfect.. next year hopefully St. Pauli and Braunschweig will come back, along with Fortuna Düsseldorf, and that league would be a dream :)

It really is an interesting league this year...

I think its awesome to see Dresden and Essen back in Pro Football! I wouldnt have thought to ever see those clubs again!

Saarbrücken and Erfurt arent bad either, especially from my point of view as a frankfurt-fan. They are both not too far from here, so that will be two good away-games to go to...
I would have kinda liked to see Wehen as a second Hessian team, but oh well, they really dont belong in a pro league either....

I like the fact that there are only 3 really far games, cotbus, dresden and burghausen. All the others are in a good distance, possible to get there without traveling 7 or 8 hours or whatever....

Im looking forward to a good season...
