Uli Hoeneß: We are currently in the state of overhauling our squad.

Meanwhile Bayern has the oldest squad in the BL. BVB has the youngest next to Leipzig and and Mainz.

As long as DAZ or Akanji keep Lewandiveski in their pockets and the squad motivates themselves, this should be an easy win.

Enjoy it...I have no expectations. Six straight years...nothing lasts forever. The Front office needs to be humbled for them to take any meaningful action.

I think you are being a bit overzealous...

We traveled this week to Madrid. They did didnt travel. That will have a small impact on the match.

Last two matches have been away for us. Getting back home will be great but will we show any signs of fatigue from 3 matches in 7 days. I know Bayern wll have had 3 matches in 7 days as well but they were home for two of those, not including ours. They are older and should be more fatigued than our younger players, so I am curious as to how this match will play out.

But to think anything with those turds would be easy is quite laughable. It hopefully be a good match to watch with us getting the result we want.

Well the current stretch of losses to Bayern were with a coach that gave too much respect for their coach to attack and 2 coaches that didn't know how to attack or were too afraid of them. So I hope this week is different.

Gotta convince the players though to forget the last few years. Psychological aspect will be key for old players. But luckily we have new players who've been key to our recent success and won't be affected by the last few years.

    Have you seen this?

    This is laughable.

    Translation:
Reporter: Do you not see that you are critically in 3rd place
Uli: As far as I know we are 2nd
    Reporter: No BMG is 2nd
Uli: Yeah but are they ahead of us as in terms of points
    Reporter: No
Uli: See, I dont care about goal difference

Hahahha idjt. Would we awesome if we end up with the same points but beat them to the title on goal difference.

I am kidding, I hope Bayern gets relegated.

Just beat those scumbags. Remember that whatever the result is tomorrow there's still 23 games to go.

AUF GEHT'S BVB! KÄMPFEN, SIEGEN UND TOD DEM FC BAYERN!!!

So no Roman Bürki. He's more important to us than Reus and Witsel combined. If we get away with a draw that'll be awesome.

    LP | Akanji | Zagadou | Hakimi
    Witsel | Weigl
Sancho | Reus | Bruun Larsen
    Götze

Alcacer could come from the bench.
I suppose Diallo isn't fit. I hope Akanji and Zagadou can do the job. Both can be fantastic passers but Zagadou's youth is naturally showing at times. He could have caused another penalty against Wolfsburg and a guy like Ribery is known for taking advantage of every contact.
I like Witsel and Weigl in midfield. In this game though, I wouldn't have minded starting with Delaney or even with 3 midfielders. I'm also not a fan of using two very young wingers against a top opponent. Their limits were already exposed in the Atletico game. They'll have to grow into it I guess.

In the last few games, we often got schooled by Bayern, even when they were supposedly not in a great form. But they seem to take us seriously which combined with their talent ended in very frustrating games for us.
The lineup seems pretty optimistic and offensive minded by Favre instead of safety first. A part of me thinks he deserves praise for it but I'm also quite nervous.

If you ere going to praise him for having an offensive minded line-up wouldn't you want Raphael over Psiczek?

I'd say there is room between the extremes. Favre could have chosen the defensively and physically more solid Delaney but he chose Weigl who is better with the ball on his feet and is the more creative passer. Favre could have also gone back to the 4-3-3 to put more bodies in midfield. That never worked for our offensive game but my point is that he didn't choose a lineup with the aim in mind to squeeze out a draw or destroy the opponent's game, in my opinion.

Thigh issue from the Atletico game, possibly caused by the collision with another player.

Too far for Reus to run. Needed Sancho to have that one.

Reus was through and only had to beat Neuer. Should have done better there.Bayern have been dominant so far but due to their errors, there were 3 chances already to counterattack that we gave away.

Oh dear, already 2 dives from Lewandowski. I'll be mad if he scores again against us when this is his gameplan.

BVB needs to cash a counter attack, because the pressure is so high that one of these defensive scrambles is going to go into the BVB net. So far the defenders are managing to pull it out each time, but it is dicey.

Weigl needs to come off for Dahoud. Immediately. The game is passing him by and his giveaways are killing us.
