http://www.planetfootball.com/article.asp?id=126805&Title=Bishop+set+for+American+move Hopefully this will not result in his playing for DC. I don't know what reception he'd get after his comments and suit against the league.
I noticed that the article didn't mention MLS. It wouldn't suprise me to see him at one of the stronger A-League clubs -- maybe with a clear path to a coaching job or a camp/youth club setup to pad the paycheck? But one never knows these days...
Good for him. It will be fun to see fim playing along side RDA, and all the other MLS castoffs, and to see MLS sides kick his team's butt in the US Open cup.
that was a funny story he should get a real nice reception upon his return i would like to see him sign with mls then he can ride the pine and get cut mid season after he makes really nasty public comments again
The guy is 37 years old and couldn't do any better than Rochdale - that's Division III !!! We don't need him anymore in MLS and it sends a bad message about the quality of the league if we do take him. It's a joke, really.
My guess is that he's either headed to Charleston, Pittsburgh, Rochester or Richmond. Their the only clubs that would pay enough to bring him in.
