There was no misunderstanding. They didn't deserve to get it..simple as that. They finished outside the slot for placement in Europe.The difference between 5th and 6th in the league was about 400,000 quid from the annual payout from the PL.Basically he just offered them the difference in the places if they finished 5th. They still didn't get any money according to CAG, it's just been defered into other bonus agreements for the year (how true that is is anyones guess) I can't see jimbo here in the new year to be honest and if he doesn't get his thumb out of his hole he won't be missed by many either.His constant whinging and moaning about balls not played to his feet is geting on everybodys nerves.That coupled with the financial trouble, regardless of whether Bates admits it's existance or not, will see him off whilst we can still get a decent price for him.If he doesn't hit a grain of form soon we may not even get that much.The though has crossed my mind that he is resentfull of the club for not leting him go to Spain and is unwilling to put in that extra effort because of that.Just my opinion on him. Eidur won't get a raise huh? Eidur should thank his agent that he didn't get a performance laden contract or he would be owing the club money for the games to date. A raise?How in gods name can he justify even asking for one right now? I don't doubt for a second that players could leave in January, but i really don't see more than 2 at most going.Thats not counting Bogarde, De Goey and Bosnich.

Jimmy gone at the right price eh? 8-10 million is that the price? and the money no doubt will NOT be invested into the playing staff. Poor old CR not really given the tools to do the job. Eidur will have to wait and see about his bonus, lets just get on with the season and wait and see. Bosnich - Bogarde - Stanic go and we no longer have to pay for them, but who would have 'em? Not even there own mothers is my guess. Btw - De Goey is he not our Goalkeeping coach? If he is, an I'm pretty sure he is, why would we get rid of him, he's keeping Carlo in fine form. Bosnich doesn't even train with the team anymore is that correct? I still wonder IF there will be any INCOMING.
Geting caught up on what he said How 'bout this one. Seems like he's puting it out loud and clear that we will be going no-where for the next few seasons or so.Expect this lot of (so-called) stars to leave soon, either by sale or fullfillment of contractual obligations, and be replaced out of the reserve side. Also said that Eidur was the future of the club, but all but stated out loud that if the right bid for Hass comes in he is gone. This lad had it right.. "Eidur is the future, Jimmy is the present and soon to be the past"..... Also stated
