    He single handedly carried our team when he played for us. What a guy!

    Very helpful. So, the Fire are nothing without him, I assume?

    <insert usual A-League vs. MLS talent drivel>

    By the way, the A-League has similar talent to MLS, just not the best 10-15% MLS have. The other 85% could switch back and forth. We (Seattle Sounders) played San Jose twice last season...and didn't give up a goal in a 0-0 draw and a 1-0 US Open Cup victory. We also played well against LA, eventually losing by a scoreline not indicative of the play.

    When did I say or even imply anything bad about the A-League? Just because Billy Sleeth sucks doesn't have any bearing on talent in the A-League. I think you need to relax.

    Another fluid, helpful post. I am very relaxed, I'm just used to clearer input from Fire fans.

    I doubt a player you drafted, and who played a season with you, "sucks." He might not be MLS material long-term, but that describes 99% of the soccer players in America. (Many of whom don't suck at all!)

    well, you're right, we do draft alot of good players. but this guy sucks.

    you have to remember, he was on the team when guys like vauderille and walsh were starting (i think, am i right on that?)

    Well, either way he's coming home to where he played college footy. If the price was right then our A-League Sounders can probably use him well.

    BTW--when a player is released by an MLS squad, does that mean the (entire) league is releasing him? (Since the league tenders all contracts...)

    Yeah, nobody wants him.

    Btw, he was on Colorado's roster last season.

    Yeah, it looks another Rapid will be heading Seattle's way: Wes Hart.

    He does suck though. I wouldn't be suprised if he can't break your starting line up. Who knows, maybe the demotion will light a fire under his butt and you'll get something out of him. I actually do like the Sounders, hope to see you in MLS one day.
