Price gets his long-term deal including a $10 million signing bonus, Vick gets his goto reciever, immediatly making Atlanta the most dangerous offensive team this side of...well they have the potential to be the most explosive offense in history. Consider this. They a pro-bowl TE in Alge Crumpler, a top-notch TBs in TJ Duckett and Warrick Dunn, Dunn is one of the best in the league at recieving out of the back-field. And now they have a goto reciever who is one of fastest around, and runs some of the best routes in the league. And the capper on that is Vick. For defenses, its truly pick your poison time. He has the weapons to beat you with his laser arm while sitting back. Or he can just hand it off. and if the defense plays aggressive...well thats just playing into Vicks strengths. I don't know how many of you remember Vick's offense @ VaTech but it was pretty much the same. Fast as heck deep threat, and good tail-back, an OK line, and Vick.

As a Bills die-hard I'm happy about this. It gives the bills room ro sign Takeo Spikes and either sign a D-Lineman or FS, and then draft the other. Whatever you cut this trade gives both teams a lt of value.

I'm quite happy. And they only had to give up a first rounder! Now that have a go-to guy in Price, and a solid possession receiver in Finneran. Great job by Blank to get this done.

FYI, the Bungles made Spikes either the transitional or franchise plasyer, so they'll have to trade for him.

Arthur Blank has done a great job of giving people something to cheer about since he bought the team.Good things happen when your owner is committed to make the right moves to get your team winning.Even though he did kind of overpay for Warrick Dunn last offseason.

True, and he may have overpaid for Price. But Blank understands the nature of the NFL, which is to win now. There's so much turnover every year on rosters that it is difficult to build a dynasty. The Falcons have never made the playoffs two years in a row, and this signals his determination to do so.

Now if they'd just bring back the red helmets...

    Wrong.

Transitional FA which means we only have the ability to match an offer sheet.Since Buffalo signed him(TKO)today,The Bengals signed Kevin Hardy from Dallas and John Thornton(DT)from Tennessee so it doesn't look like we will be matching the outrageous contract offer to TKO.$8,000,000 signing bonus? You can have him.

We can afford him, Sam Adams and whatever FS or CB we draft in the draft because of the fact that we cleared about 5 mill from Price

Good move. Donahoe will lead us back to the promised land.

I really hope so. Donahoe has done awsome job so far actually. Its the coaching that I'm not entirely pleased with to date. Personally, I think the offensive play calling cost us 2 - 3 games last season. Things like forcing Bledsoe to throw the ball when it would have been much easier to grind it out with Henry. I'm actually hoping that with Price gone, Bledsoe won't be so zealous to throw it every play and bring a bit more balance to the offense.
