I love going to see the US at CCS, but who the hell are Paraguay, you know?

I'm giving the thumbs down, and I know this is going to sound selfish, but I guarantee this game will go over as well as the Ecuador one...

That's right, no one remembers that dead-atmosphere beauty against Ecuador...

Well I for one remember that game. A 0 - 0 tie where the US used, I think TWO guys who actually played in the WC, Friedel and Sanneh. (May have been a coupple more; what I recall most is Kirovski blowing his last chance at the team by looking bored and annoyed)

Anything would be better than that dog of a match. What a snoozer.

Big question is if Chilavert makes the trip.

Since we have a game the 5th, I would suspect they'd make this a double header, moving the game against Dallas to the 6th.

    Midwest, the real one.
Pipino Cuevas, and maybe Jose Cardoso. Also Fransisco Arce.

Yeah, who is Paraguay? Maybe the US would have won game 5 if Paraguay had advanced instead of Germany.

I'm selfish, but I really hope the crew game gets moved to a sunday doubleheader. it just works out better for me.

Actually I'd like to see Paraguay. I think it'll be a decent game, they are usually pretty solid defensively. And like CrewPens said, they do have Santa Cruz, that guy will be a handful for anyone we put on the back line. Should be a good game.

So does this mean that we'll be allowed to throw gummi bears at Chilavert?

I don't see why they do this:

    1) Move that weekend's Crew game to 4 PM so it can be televised on espn2.

    2) Move the US game to 6:30 PM Saturday night. Televise it on espn2.

That's alot of stuff to move, but they could probably do it.

If they moved the Crew game, it would most likely be one of these times:
    1-3 PM Sunday
    1:30 - 3:30 PM Sunday
    6:30 - 8:30 PM Sunday

I personally don't like that 6:30 Sunday kickoff time. I'm sure i'm not the only one. The best, IMO would be a 1:30 PM kickoff. Even that would suck as it would be hotter than blazes.

Maybe i'm selfish, but I don't see why they don't just make it a Saturday DH.

I doubt they'll make it a saturday doubleheader if its already on espn's schedule for sunday.

Um, Chilavert just might be loco enough to actually jump into the stands for a confrontation.

I don't think he's in good enough shape to jump... much less jump into the stands.
