I dont know if this is the correct forum to ask this question but I was wondering if anyone had information on how bigsoccer.com membership has grown since its inception. Personally, I know that I was sick and tired of trying to find scraps of information about US soccer through mass media. I only became a member and began posting after the World Cup and I'm sure there are many more like me. I started off trying the espn boards but half of the posts there were just soccer sucks trolling. So, I guess what I want to know is if how membership growth on boards like bigsoccer has progressed over the past year and how it is correlated with the growth of soccer popularity in the United States. Any thoughts??
I think it would interesting to do some statistical data analysis and find if any correlation exists. Last I checked BS membership was around 25,000+. I started reading the boards back in 2000, but didn't become a member till early 2001, and I think memebership at that time was more along the lines of 15,000 (That is just a guess really). BS is growing at a pretty decent rate, but if you want to ask someone who might be able to answer you, go to the Customer Service Boards, they might be able to answer this question.
It's much better here. Only about 45% of the posts are from trolls, and very few of them think soccer sucks.
