I've been thinking of this idea. What if we set up a BigSoccer Hall of Fame. We could have a thread say every month.

At the beginning of the month, people could nominate 5 players for the Hall of Fame. If a player gets 15 nominations (maybe this number can be raised later on if many people participate), then he will be put on the Hall of Fame ballot.

After about a week of nominations, a new thread can be started where a bio of every player will be posted so that people can vote on who gets admitted into the BigSoccer Footie Hall of Fame. Members can vote for 3 players (maybe more depending on how many players are on the ballot) and in order for a player to get into the Hall they will need x percentage of votes (I'm thinking of maybe making it 50%, but we can decide on this later). Voting would take place for a week or two. (There would be two threads, one for discussion and one for just posting your votes).

A player gets 1 year (in essence it would be 12 chances) from their first appearance on the ballot to get elected into the HoF. If they don't get nominated in a year then they would be ineligible for the HoF.

    What do you guys think??
