registered my 2 extra teams last night but didn't fill them up, with the aim of doing later.
Unfortunately my dim bitch of a gf spilt vodka and grapefruit juice all over the keyboard.
Keyboard stopped working, so couldn't log in!
Nightmare. Got in though eventually after having to cut and paste from a floppy from my laptop. Complicated stuff, especially for me, and especially after half a bottle of vodka and several bottles of Stella.
Consequently my other 2 teams were arranged in haste to say the least before I slipped into a coma.
Just had a look at them in the cold light of day.
    It's not a pretty sight.
Keep an eye out for the relegation struggle involving New Longton Rovers. Poor things, they don't stand a chance.

So when are things updated then?
I'm eagerly waiting to see how badly my teams did.
I know Rufus got me a goal for charlton, woohoo, what a bargain.
Can't see it happening too often though.

Damn, if only I had paid attention to the injury reports...picked 3 defenders who DNP due to injury.

The game seems to be updated immediatly after the real games are played. I checked a couple of hours later and the (dismal) stats were there.

    Same happened to me.
For some reason the magnitude of the injuries to Fowler and Ljungberg completely passed me by.
They've since been sold for their insolence.
Shame really, thought I had a good squad.

I don't think they're updated immediately, or are they?
Games were finished yesterday by 5pm, wasn't updated the rest of the day.
Games today haven't been added yet.
But I do know I've got at least another 150points to add to the mighty Dinamo Onmibykfelov's tally.

Not bad for a team that was hastily assembled pre self induced coma.

    sittin pretty

My Florentia Viola is sitting there in 4th, with Owen's stats from today's match still not in the equation.

Could have been much better, but he missed a PK and evidentally had another goal miraculously saved.

Zenden was my biggest earner, got me 70 pts. Who was the best earner anyone else got?

Mine was the aforementioned Richard Rufus. Charlton defender - 114 points - nice surpirse.
    Robbie Keane got me 83.
3 of the team played today and 1 plays on monday.

My team, Georgia Thugs is in second place with 4 of them still to play their match and the team in front of me has all their players playing their match except for 2 so I am hoping I can take the lead soon :) For me, Lee Bowyer and Brad Friedel were point earners. ManU players were BIG disappointments oh well.

    Oh sweet mother of god.
The mighty Dinamo Onimbykfelov are up to second on the strength of sundays results.
Plus got 1 playing tonight perhaps (don't know if he's starting).
The unfortunate thing is that it's only the first weekend of the season - things can only get worse.

    My Needham SC at #1?

    That just can't be right.

I'll be happily suprised if I stay in the top 20 next week.

Me on the other hand had an Ouch! of a drop. From 4th to 37th. Owen screwed me yesterday, getting a measely 17 points. Missing a PK..uggh

What we need is a site or page with injury reports so we dont end up having players that arent in the matches.

    I'll vote for that, but...
I guess that's where those that are willing to do the research are going to come off better. Not that that includes me of course.
That's why I came a cropper with Ljungberg in one of my teams.

Is anyone actually thinking of buying any more transfers? Or maybe you already have.
I'm too tight, eventhough one of my teams need a real overhaul.

True, I suppose that's logical, but I'm a bit busy to check numerous team sites every day to catch up on injuries and such.

A far as transfers go, I think I am assuming correctly that by not using a transfer during the week, it would carry over to the next week no? So as for now I don't plan on using any nor buying many in the future

As there are a million teams in our "division" and some of us have multiple teams, I'm curious as to how many of us actually are playing. From what I see there is:

    maczebus
    dejamatt
    jd6885
    soccernutter
    BrianCappellieri
    Barca_Fan2003
    lion
    MLSNHTOWN
    mactheknife

I can't imagine that between the 9 of us we made up 273 teams...

    Guys:

My name is Erik Barmack, and I'm the general manager of TSN's fantasy games division. Just so you know, I'm a huge calcio/football fan, and I'm on these boards often. We think we've put out a unique product for the Premiership, but I'm always looking to make it better. If you have comments, please send them my way: ebarmack@sportingnews.com.

p.s. And yes, transfers DO carry over.
