This year my money would be on Arsenal. Both teams have lethal offenses, but Arsenal have a much better backline. Madrid make up a little for it by having Casillas, but a keeper isn't much help when the defense leaves large parts of the goalmouth exposed.
Real vs. Arsenal I see Arsenal having most of the possession. Arsenal being able to withstand Real's offensive pressure, and Real's defense not up to the task against Arsenal's firepower. That being said I really don't want us to get ahead of ourselves and think about Real before we get by Chelsea.
I think it would be tight, but Arsenal would pull it out. AFC Defense is just that much better than Real Madrid's.
that is not a joke. ac milan looks horribly dangerous. they would beat real madrid 8 out of 10 times in my opinion. they have the same galacticos real madrid have (younger also) and they have the defense. madrid's best defender is helguera. milan has nesta. enough said.
Right now, the Euro Cup holders AC Milan are the favourites to repeat. I don't mean any disrespect to fans of Deportivo, Porto or Lyon but I just think they'll be in the final. Arsenal has to get by Chelsea but I would say that either team can beat Real. Arsenal's defense is better than Real's and I would say Chelsea's is as well. Of course, Real still has to get by Monaco but I think they will progress. But AC Milan is the best team in Europe right now. I'm an Arsenal supporter through and through but Arsenal will not be considered a great team until a European Cup is won. One game at a time . . . dispose of Chelsea and let's see where we can go! Go Gunners!
