It's been difficult this year especially during the second half of the season when waiting for goals was like watching paint dry, but yes I do manage to keep a straight face most of the time. Was that the question?(MTBFTR)
Another question for you Gup- err Bigfoot: Would spending less time online and spending more time on MPF, yielded a better marketing product?
Hey bigfoot, at least you could put the ".com" after the MTBFTR bit. See now? How easy it is to have others create marketing for your cause??... Feel free to pass that along to your supervisors.
Actually he's my homeboy not my mentor or boss. We're both Passaic, NJ born and bred, as well as Jack "call me assassin" Tatum, Danny Federici (who's the son of Tatum's high school football coach as well as member of the E Street Band), Craig "Ironhead" Heyward and many others. I never did see Nick at the Hot Grill in Clifton. Maybe he was in France by then. (MTBFTR) When I met him in the corridors of Giants Stadium a couple of years ago and asked him what part of Passaic he grew up in he looked at me like I was a stalker. What do you suppose that means? (MTBFTR)
BTW, for those of you wondering about a mtbftr.com update, we have no time to do it since the metros hired us for their website. Please check out http://www.metrostars.com/gameday/2003/mpf_pregame.htm for our latest work.
I will if those responsible will promise to update more than once every couple of seasons or at least send me some back issues of National Lampoon.(MTBFTR)
So how do you like your internship so far? Is it something I can safely recommend for those trying to break into the field? (MTBFTR)
Did you invent the Electric Light Bulb, or did that pesky Edison dude steal your idea from 9 months previous? (MTBFTR)
Tough to say. Our bosses are morons. And there is this geeky guy there that always asks for game video clips for his website. Forgot his name though (BIGFOOT)
Work hard and keep your head down and you might be a success someday. Maybe. Having friends and relatives in high places is much better though. (MTBFTR)
I always thought success would be measured by a horribly fake english accent and running a marketing/ PR department as smoothly as a Russian Gulag and getting a Jaguar out of it. (BIGFOOT)
Why should they. No one wants to step on your ego. You take credit for it. That is something you are successful at. (BIGFOOT)
Are you going to tell me the (Bigfoot) idea didn't come from my (MTBFTR) idea? I rest my case. You get high marks for enthusiasm and low marks for originality.(MTBFTR)
