In addition to being a good striker, he also floats back towards midfield occasionally and often provides for teamates' goals.

with the 5th overall pick, i take as roma & romania center back christian chivu

tough, skillful defender with great leadership qualities for a 23 year old - just ask the boys club at AJAX that he almost took past milan in last year's champions league - was captain of romania at 21 - this pick might surprise some, but i couldnt care less - i now have my defense marshall for the next dozen years - not quite the defensive equal of nesta, but far more proficient in attack - just ask roma how big his long serves, free kick blasts and distribution up the middle have been for them this season - a top notch penalty taker and can also play left back in a pinch

Recber has got to be the worst pick ever in this draft. You have every player in the world to pick such as Steven Gerrard, Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo etc. and you pick Recber!?!?!?! He wouldn't even make my top 10 list of keepers on the world!!

 

What!? You picked Recber over Buffon, Toldo, Kahn, Casillas, Canizares, Dudek, etc?

Haha none of the players picked so far would have made my top 20 list! with the exception of ronaldiniho and henry.

BTW VS since you are part of my team now and our turn is coming up pretty soon if you want your voice to be heard pm me otherwise i would assume you're ok with the world's greatest scorer of all time the king ali daie!

If it continues the way it is going right now it would be awsome but i think badsy is gonna pick the same player i want to pick as he plays in juve oops have i said too much?! No worries I have so many players in mind so even if one of them gets picked i have others for back up oh and don't worry I am not planning to make IRAN's national team I mean that would just be unfair with me winning that fast And can we please speed things up a bit? I really don't want this to go into weekend as i might smoke a phat one(weed just in case you are slow) and forget about my strategy.

Oh and can someone tell me how does one actually win? What happens after we finish making our teams? I dunno what i have gotten myself into!

 

I don't guess there really is a winner to this. Just attempt to assemble the best team in your opinion. If you wanted to draft only players from Iran, well that would be your perogative. It kind of defeats the purpose of the exercise, but hey its all in fun right?
