Well, I think he seemed like the most under-rated legend in 35th.
I won't complain if you move him down again though James (you can make 3 changes - either bringing players in or switching two players positions...bit of a strange game but cool in a way - nobody can ever really make the list as they think it should be and the next person can undo their changes straight away lol).
I'll probably have 1 more go myself sometime but I'll wait for others to go next.

Basten would be more likely from 15th -20th, and same goes with G.Best.

These two had nothing better than Zico and about same level as Romario at max - they both got the "advantage" playig in Europe longer ... to be biased thru media

Don;t get me wrong. I do not want to. It's just my opinion that it's a bit too early to include him in (as difficult to judge correctly or fairly). Its alright ...

Didi 49 and Zidane 8? What are the difference between them to make it way apart?

In fact Didi had many better attributes than Zidane : Shooting, Freekicks/cornerkicks, defensive talents and Leadership.

    Defensive talents?

Didi could be playing the Holding Mid's role (in his last years). But he doesn't get a fvkin ball, that was the Zito's role. That's what another reason why he failed in Real Madrid, it said that in a muddy pitch, after the final whistle, Didi had the shirt clean, instead the other players who had "mud even between the teeths".

BTW, 40 spots in an A-T ranking isn't that much difference, IMO.

Well read between the lines ... Didi was a PLAYMAKER (not a DM) in his best. Zito only played with Didi at WC58 (6games) whilst Didi moved from many clubs ..

As among the TOP playmakers, he had (relatively_ )good skill in defense (at least much better than Zidane) and close to Cruyff, Stefano in that area,

Last bold, great players DO NOT need to crawl, dive onto the pitch to get the ball ... (hence got mud) OK? Did you ever see Beckenbauer sweating, got his shirt dirty as the way Canavao or Terry did? NO

Didi did NOT get along well with Di Stefano (a Real GODlike at the time) as they both HAD different views in playmaking and control the team! ( people say a jungle does not allow two tigers). Real fans were kinda separated at time and confused!

Didi played right behind Stefano and Stefano liked to withdrawn deeper and COLLIDED with Didi's Position! Hence Didi could not play that many games in his spell there and left Spain!

Agree with many of your selections but how do you justify putting Messi at 28 with the likes of Gullit, Best, etc ahead of him. Messi has already three seasons worthy of all time rankings and has been putting world class performances since the beginning of 2007. That is already better than many of the players you list ahead of him, especially given the peak he has reached in the last three seasons.

I'm surprised that xiehao74's list does not include Rivaldo of Brazil. Having seen him play in World Cups, I recall his fluidity, grace, skill and ability to make big plays in the clutch (two goals against Denmark, 1998 quarters, tying goal to finish off Ronaldinho's great run against England in the 2002 quarters, the shot that Kahn could not handle that led to Ronaldo's first goal in the 2002 final, his deft move running over the ball that let to Ronaldo's second goal in the 2002 final). I also recall how much less potent Brazil's attack was in 2006 without him than it was in 1998 and 2002.
