it is clearly written in the scriptures of McBride that he shall come off the bench and score the game winning goal to lead the team to victory.

    From the Guardian:

Disaster strikes! Gabriel Agbonlahor has pulled his hamstring and will probably be out of the England game on Wednesday. As if it wasn't bad enough, Marlon Harewood has replaced him (for Villa not England thankfully).

Danny Murphy is a turnover machine.

Fulham's passing in the final 3rd is dreadful...

I was going to say that exact turnover machine line in regards to Murphy... he's brutal today.

Villa with some sustained pressure, get off two corners and keep it up because Fulham does an awful job of clearing once they get the ball.

Dempsey does a really nice job of bringing a ball in from going out (might've been slightly out)... great touch. Not called out, and actually earns a nice FK and a yellow card on Bouma.

With what would've been a throw in to Villa with most other players.

    Decent FK from Bullard, cleared.

    64th.

Dempsey draws a yellow with a fantastic first touch against Bouma. Hollander gets the card.

Also, I don't know if it was mentioned, but Agbonalahor was subbed out at half for Harewood who came out firing but has kind of settled in as the half has gone on.

Dempsey and Bullard try and work something between them, but make the mistake of passing to Baird.

    McBride looks about ready.

He can't, he's been sent off so he'll have to sit out the next match.

Excellent strike by Hughes, too bad it was INTO HIS OWN NET.

How the heck were Northern Ireland not totally useless in Euro 2008 qualifying? All their players suck. At least the ones Fulham signed.

McBride's first action on the field should have been to walk over to Aaron Hughes and demand the armband back.

Hughes plays while Boca sits. Any wonder why Fulham's in 19th?

    Thx,

    Jay!
