If EJ is going to miss the Mexico game he damn well better be on the bench at least.

Otherwise, why the thanks to Bob for letting him go?

Is this just projected or is the team now locked in by rule??

It doesn't matter, if it gives EJ a chance to make a run at playing time, then missing the friendly with Mexico is worth it.

i hope Routledge plays. He can only turn left by turning right three times. Beats everyone on the field to the ball then sends it 20 seats up.

Of course, he will likely take this opportunity to have his best game ever, learn to turn left and score in the last 2min of regulation.

HAHA yeah after I posted it I realized my mistake. Is Kasey really back in the squad? Has he played a reserve match yet?

As far as Brede goes, I don't think we get many people posting about games in Norway or Denmark, so I am not surprised.

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or not...but no he's not eligible. He's already played a lot for Norway's national team.

Nope he has been capped quite a few times by Norway. But just because he isn't eligible for the Nats doesn't mean he isn't a YA. I know that people don't agree with this (i.e. Rossi), but I am pretty sure that's the rule.

Well, I just did a search, and poor Brede has never been mentioned in the title of a YA gameday thread. I'm sure he's been mentioned in some FC Kobenhavn game threads when Jamil Fearrington was there, and I also found this:

I think I've been watching not enough non-Fulham EPL matches. I just got done watching Chelsea vs. Portsmouth which was far more entertaining than the dreck I watched when Fulham played Bolton. Fulham/Bolton wasn't even as fun to watch as the (usually disappointing) MLS games I've seen.

I certainly hope Fulham shows a better game against Villa. They were lucky to get a point from Bolton but I'm hoping the new players will start to "gel" together quickly.

EJ coming in late to score the winning goal ? One can dream...

Sometimes I do this thing where I count consecutive passes by a team in their opponent's half. I started doing it to see how crappy my team (Red Bull NY) was, but when I applied it to Fulham they weren't any better. They both had streaks of like 3 or 4. Chelsea meanwhile, can string 10 consecutive passes in their opponent's half and then score. So yeah, Fulham is definitely not the class of the EPL.

But considering that both his parents are norwegian and he was only in the us for a short time wile his parents worked there. Calling him a Yank migth be takeing it a to far.
I mean i spent a year in England as a kid (0-1year old) but i don`t consider myself english.

dont hold your breath, Hogs is building a team to grind out wins. So far he has proved very shrewed in his choices, none of the players he brought in have made the team worse.

Now he will play for the draw every match and maybe set EJ loose 35min per game.

It will be interesting to see how Fulham play with a lead...assuming that ever happens again.

They need basically 4 or 5 wins and at least 7 draws to stay up. Going to be a battle.

With this weekend's match results so far, there is going to be additional pressure for Fulham to get at least a point.
