28 minutes now, still no score, no shots on goal. Friedel with nothing to do so far except take a few goal kicks.

goal for blackburn at 37 on a penalty. stupid handball by clarke on a not very dangerous cross.

goal for blackburn at 43 by sukur, beauty, right through the keepers legs.

its halftime now, its on fsw. very chippy match, dunn has locked up with about everyone on fulham.
blackburn is very physical and there have been a few cards already. the ref has let a lot of physical stuff go.

brad made one save on a nice shot from some guy on fulham who looks like the ultimate forceps baby. it was a nice little zinger. there is a dude with a portugese name, black dude, who is on fulham who has played well on the wing.

brad hasn't had too much to do, he read a nice play to come up and stop a breakaway.

fulham has had some chances but made little of them.

2 more goals for blackburn! first, friedel picked up a ball (after a non-call that i thought should have been a penalty), then the rovers went down and duff put a poor shot that the keeper just muffed and didn't get down on to the near post.

then about 20 seconds later sukur got a nice cross and switched feet and pounded a left footer in. beauty.

its getting ugly, i'll probably stop watching

Well, I just popped on the tube and it's:

    Fulham 0 - 4 Blackburn
    55' gone

Can't do PBP, but I'll try to pop back in if there's any other scoring.

    Can say that again.

If I was Souness, I'd just worry about injuries and cards--excellent move taking off Neill before he got another card.

    Boa Morte's the Port. winger.

Think he meant Marlet, although the first half save was on Malbranque.

the portuguese guy played well but wasn't the one who took the shot.

i am not sure exactly who took the shot, i don't really follow either team. man fulham rolled over and died pretty easy. is that their first-choice keeper?

I think Van Der Sar is the first choice keeper.

Is this woodshed ass-whuppin over yet? BBC's pbp crapped out after 80 minutes.

Also: did Brad get any more saves? I have him on a fantasy team ;)

Van der Sar was injured in a game against Newcastle in December, and hasn't started a game since. Maik Taylor has been filling in since then.

Taylor beat out American Marcus Hahnemann for the back-up keeper position at Fulham once Van der Sar was signed in 2001 (although it can be said that Tigana never gave Hahnemann a chance).

After looking on Fulham's website, when he said "ultimate forceps baby", I'd say it's more likely he's talking about Malbranque:
