Good tidings, gang. Beulah's got a website, just in time for the Gold Cup action.

The url is www.beulahsports.com The server seems to be a bit poky, so hit reload and be patient.

    Start spreadin' the news.

Bump--I want to get this up high to remind everyone to see Beulah's analysis of the Mexico match. (See the above post.) She was more up-beat than many of the BS commentators.

"Booming crosses, deadly set pieces and the much anticipated return of a sorely missed dynamo. Playing against yet another tough bunker defense, the US manages to eke one out and takes another step forward on its way to winning its group and ultimately qualifying for the 2003 WWC."

"An outstanding offensive display by the United States in the first half showed just what happens when an opponent comes out of its bunker. Milbrett and Wagner starred, Mac was a featured player and Wambach made a dynamic return to the team. A solid performance in preparation for the semifinals."

"The United States and Canada qualify for the 2003 Women's World Cup and move on to the Gold Cup Final. In its semifinal match the United States had numerous chances at goal and in the second half, started putting some of those chances home. The US managed not only to qualify for the WWC, but to do so in entertaining fashion."
