I have absolutely no problem with him taking up his cause. Especially this cause which has been, sadly, overlooked for years at all levels (youth through the pros). I just think he forgets that he says the same thing, to the same audience, who has heard it all before. I don't think there's anyone tuning into an MLS match he's on, who hasn't already heard his spiel - that's where he has to know he's going to take a bit of ribbing about it.
The issue is that no one ever takes any action. So what, TT stops talking about it and we go back to not thinking about it? I'm sure being the concussion nag isn't fun for him either, but until the issue gets taken seriously I'm glad he's doing what he can to keep it front and center. There's a great feature from a couple years ago on Chris Rolfe's attempt to recover from a serious concussion and it's downright scary. Def recommend the read.
I asked Ernst Tanner about the improvements made to the Steel roster. He gave a pretty honest answer comparing the talent on the 2019 Steel roster to the 2018 roster. pic.twitter.com/g39co3KEpb— Joe Tansey (@JTansey90) February 28, 2019
Is it me or are tickets for all the BSFC games all sold out on the website? Seems like a cheap laid back fam outing for when it warms up.
Union STHs also get GA Season tickets for Steel, not sure about single games. I know I’m unable to list those STH steel tickets on stub hub... Side note: I wish there were more day games on the schedule

Saw this chart over on Reddit and I was wondering if Steel's woeful attendance is because the tickets weren't technically "sold" (paid attendance) or are they really only getting 540 people per game (with Free tickets)?
540 is a generous number. People just aren’t going.. most people with tickets are Union STHs so their soccer appetite is already filled with a higher level team and they will only go to a steel game if it’s super convenient and nothing else is going on. I’ve been to two games this year, it’s fun, but it’s an afterthought for almost all of the potential attendees.
I see that most MLS affiliates draw very low numbers, so they're not completely out of line. However, I also notice that a lot of the MLS affiliates suffered enormous drops this season. We know why Steel lost a lot of attendance, but I wonder what is causing the overall trend for MLS affiliates.
Just like when Real Salt Lake passed on the golden opportunity to call their USL side Fake Salt Lake...
