    The Best XI - FAQ

    Q. What is the Best XI?
Every week, I search the MLS Fantasy League database for the best
statistical performances from players. I then compile the best team
that is possible within the rules of the game. (Which means I have to
follow the formation rules.) I then provide a list of players and post
    it here.

    Q. What happens in the case of a tie with players points?
I then take into account salary. Whatever player had the lowest salary
at the beginning of the game day is the one who gets the nod.

    Q. What formats are legal in MLS Fantasy League?
I have tested through and found the following formats to be legal:

    5-4-1
    5-3-2
    4-5-1
    4-4-2
    4-3-3
    3-5-2
    3-4-3

And of course you always have to have a Goalkeeper.

    Q. What formation do you suggest using?
I am not the one to be asking... I just know things, I don't win. But
I will tell you that there are pros and cons to each lineup. Just
remember that the people who end up getting paid off big are your guys
who score or who help score. When picking a line-up, remember that.
When picking midfielders, avoid midfielders who play only a defensive
role. When picking defenders, pick defenders who are consistently being
pulled up for Corner Kicks and those who take a very offensive attitude
    at points in the game.

    Q. What formation do you use?
    I am currently using a 3-4-3.
