Anyone care to weigh in on what they think are the best and worst of 1.BL team badges/logos?

    Here are my thoughts:

Best in the 1.BL: Eintracht Frankfurt (a classic logo)

Runners-Up: Bayern (circular design and bright colors catch my eye; bonus points for the club being identified on the badge); HSV (you would never know this is the badge for a soccer team, but its stark simplicity wins me over)

Guilty Pleasure: 1.FCN (can't tell you why, but I like the way it looks despite being terribly unoriginal)

Worst in the 1.BL: Cottbus (looks like it was designed by a Communist bureacrat in the 1950s, and very well may have been)
Runners-up: Wolfsburg (huh? club in need of an identity probably should have gone with something that wasn't so incredibly generic); Bremen (not as bad as Wolfsburg, but still pretty generic)

Bonus--Best in the 2.BL: St. Pauli (similar to the Bayern logo, subbing out the tablecloth for the Tor)

Runners-Up: TSV 1860 (another classic logo, very German logo, with the 1860 being a nice added touch); Gladbach (elegant); Cologne (not a huge fan of the goat, but I like the Dom in silhouette).

Worst in the 2.BL: Koblenz (eww!)
Runner-Up: K-lautern (a jumble of letters and numbers).

What the [IMG] are you talking about. The greatest [IMG]ing badge is the one where a goat dry-humps a city: [IMG]

PS. Sorry I couldn't help it. It was like shooting ducks in a barrel

[IMG]- of the modern ones, this one is pretty classy looking
[IMG] - I don't really like the Bavarian flag, and I don't like the teeth like things in the middle.
[IMG] - it is amazing that they managed to make an aspirin tablet look nice

I liked the old Wolfsburg logo, as burg means castle or something similar and they had merlons on top of the W:

As for Hansa: Yes, it's a Kogge.

At last a competition where Köln is clearly miles ahead, hands down. There's no better logo (or mascot) than Hennes the goat... :)

lol, you dont even wanna know what Attila would do with this goat... :D

This guy rocks every other mascot so badly, its not even funny!

As for the crests. I think HSV is the best, because it needs not a single letter and everybody knows what it means...
I do like Eintrachts badge, even from a neutral perspective. I think it just looks good.
I dont like the KSC, FCN, BVB style... just boring...
